I am not sure if I will ever use any of the tips in this book, but they are very interesting. The author's stories are interesting too. I am glad I read it.

The work is pretty good. If you have some room in your shelf for a good background work, that is a little dated this would be the one I would get. Don't get me wrong, guns are guns and dated is not necessarily bad, but just a forewarning to any buyer who expects to have something showing recent guns. In addition, given the genre and nature, if apocalypse happens, dated is fine, because you won't be dealing with the latest and greatest! :)

Well done! In a world where Gun Smithing is becoming a dying art, this little book could be very helpful to some folk. You don't have to be an engineer to repair a firearm to workable condition. In stressful times (and those times are here) this little book of knowledge could save your bacon.

I own this book and it's not bad, but it's definitely not worth $735!!!! I wouldn't pay more than thirty bucks for it at most. Sadly, books like this are going to be needed soon I fear.

If you're looking for a guide to fixing firearms in the field this is your book. Well written and thoroughly illustrated the book takes you through the most common failure modes for guns with practical repair methods. Recommended.

My husband is really enjoying this book! He was having a difficult time finding items he needed to reload during this nationwide gun control push, this book helped him find ways to make what he needs and confirmed ideas that he had but hadn't heard of people doing regularly. After viewing a "how-to" video on Youtube.com his curiosity about a method was triggered and this book discussed that method too, so it confirmed his idea! Highly recommended!

This is a book designed for people who want their gun fixed and right now. I'm putting in memory all that I can for when I need to fix my gun.

With so much buzz about desperate times ahead along with what we're already dealing with, I felt this was a great choice for someone close to me that happens to be interested in gunsmithing. It turned out that they were, indeed, very pleased with the book. It was an excellent addition to books in their collection.

This is THE field gunsmithing manual for keeping your firearms in use! It includes chapters on ammo and constructing sub caliber devices for cycling odd ammo. For the uncertain times, found through the world, this is A definite reference book to add to one's home preparedness library!
