Review: One of the best phones available! - You wouldn't believe how much I agonised over buying a new phone; here are my findings, in the hope it'll help someone else. I chose this phone because the following things were important to me: It had to be sim free/unlocked as I live in Ireland and want the freedom to change carrier as needed. It had to have 128GB storage, I needed a lot having come from a phone with only 16! It had to have the latest Android OS, so I could be up to date for as long as possible. It had to have fast charge, as this is an essential feature for my circumstances. It needed to have a longer lasting battery, so I wasn't always running out of power at inconvenient times. It had to have no ads and as little bloatware as possible, because I believe you pay enough for a phone and ads should not be included by a sneaky manufacturer. It needed a 3.5mm headphone jack as I have specific reasons for it. The Moto G60s ticks all of those boxes, happily. I've had the phone for a week, and I've used it constantly. It arrived safely in a snug little box: Removable screen sticker (not a protector, that is not attached or included with this phone), transparent plastic phone case (for the back only), 50w turbo charger and usb c to usb c cable, sim removal pin and instruction manual (very basic). I bought the mint (iced) green version for the deal price of £179.99. The battery came partially charged and allowed me to get much of the setup done before needing to be plugged in. I did setup through a Google backup (as the transfer between phones required a cable I didn't have). No issues setting up. When it came time to charging I was very impressed that it went from about 11% to 100% in about 50 minutes or so, a huge improvement for me considering my last phone took about 2.5 hours. Going from about 30% to 100% takes about 20 minutes-ish, which is wonderful. Basically you'll never have to plug it in for long, even a partial charge keeps you going for ages. Brilliant! With heavy enough usage the phone can last 2 days on a full charge (unless you never put it down and don't sleep...) which is really good for me. Normal for me is a charge every day and a half. The phone and charger got quite hot the first time I charged it, and the phone even warned me this would happen and was normal, but after that first charge it only gets mildly warm now, which is very nice too. And less worrying lol. That 50w charger, hubba hubba!! Out of the box it's running Android 11, but according to online reports it will get 12 sometime in early 2022. Yay! Android 11 on the Moto G60s is (from what I can see) completely free of bloatware; there are almost no Motorola apps at all, aside from a necessary one here and there, certainly nothing non-essential. The stuff in this phone is all Google related, they seem to have apps for everything now, even the damn keyboard, but this is on all phones. Out of 128GB, about 110GB is usuable if I recall correctly. I've found the OS to be a smooth, quick and easy to navigate experience, and jumping from Android 9 to 11 was no problem, very helpful and friendly demos show you how new features work and there is a really informative and useful Help section as well. This is very much a no-fear-android version! The phone takes 2 SIM cards at once or 1 SIM and an SD card. Sound is perfectly fine on headphones and on speaker, though bear in mind there's one speaker at the bottom only. Calls are clear and on speaker they sound fine. No issues there at all. Contactless payments/NFT/Google pay stuff is included for those who want that sort of thing, and all apps open quickly and smoothly. Even my banking app works fine, which I was concerned about having read some other person's review, but I needn't have worried. No problems! For security there are the usual options of pin/pattern etc. as well as fingerprint and facial recognition. Fingerprint works brilliantly, instantaneous, while facial rec can be a bit hit and miss, certainly worse at night-time. It's faster to use the fingerprint anyway, I find. The fingerprint scanner is on the back, the little 'm' in the centre, and it's really conveniently placed. So, to sum up, there's sooo much to like about this phone and so far I've nothing to complain about! I really hope it keeps working so impressively. If there's any change, I will update this review accordingly. Thanks for reading, hope this helped. 😀
Review: Great phone at great price - Pros Fast processing Long battery life Super fast charging 120hz picture Sizeable screen Sound quality with headphones is great lots of bass with clear treble Value for money Vs iPhone is incredible No deterioration in battery despite very heavy use Cons The speaker is poor for music fine for voice calls etc The google assistant button is unnecessary and gets pressed finding the volume button a lot It weighs a bit but that is expected with a super long battery life Overall this phone is superb value for money with some very minor cons. Just remember that security and software upgrades only last 2 years from phone release date not from the date you purchase the phone. However the sale price usually reflects this. Now before your eyes roll, remember the cheapest iPhone is £412 and Motorola have near stock android phones and no bloatware.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great mid-range phone
*by A***X on 23 June 2022*

It's cheap, but it's actually a really good phone! It's better then my old Samsung A71 which cost twice as much. I'm happy with the display, happy with fingerprint reader, the excellent battery life and the extremely fast charging speed. There are only a couple of things that I would change: the camera won't return to the last settings used despite the 'save last settings used' toggle switched on, and the wi-fi receiver isn't as good as on my old Samsung - where my old phone picked up a signal, this one doesn't. I'm still very happy with the phone and it's a real bargain at £179.
