Elasto-Gel, Hot/Cold Therapy Wrap, 6 X 24 by Elasto-Gel

This is THE BEST cold wrap therapy ever. I use it after my daily walk. I apply it to my left knee, elevate back in the recliner and relax for 15-20 minutes and let the icie cold do its magic.

I recently had a knee replacement surgery and am going to Physical Therapy treatments. At the end of each treatment, my knee gets “iced” for ten minutes. They place this wrap around my knee and I get to relax. It is soft and pliable but yet you get the benefit of the coldness from it. I liked it so much, I asked what it was and ordered one for myself to have at home. I have been using it several times times a day and getting that cold relief needed for my knee.

This is my 2nd Elasto Gel product and I'm really a fan - good quality and durable. I discovered this product many years ago and the original product is still effective after many uses. Recently, I've had to treat a torn meniscus and knee swelling, and used this product every day, sometimes several times a day, as a cold pack. I continue to be impressed with how well and how long their products retain heat / cold. I'm the kind of person who does a lot of research on products before buying. I sought this product out as it did not show up on initial general search pages. I'm glad I did.

I have bone-on-bone in my right knee, and it can be very painful, especially if I overdo. This covers the knee all the way around and attaches really easily. Because of the coverage, it is very effective at reducing the pain. It is thin enough so that it is easy to move around. I was able to work in the house while wearing it. I have only tried it cold so far, but it can be heated in the microwave for when heat is preferable.I am very pleased with it. I got the six inch wide one, there is also a 9 inch that might work well for taller people.

Amazing ice pack that can actually be applied over affected areas!!

This is the same wrap that is used at my physical therapist's office. It's great b/c it stays flexible even after being in the freezer. I needed it several times a day while I was doing rehab for a torn meniscus and it was easy to wrap around my whole knee. I tried some other ice packs first but this one, although more expensive, was worth it because the others either weren't comfortable or weren't able to ice the front and back of my knee at the same time. I haven't tried it for heat treatments.

The product is satisfactory. The product arrived sooner that promised and/or expected. This was without expedited delivery option(s).

Even though the picture shows this on a leg, I use them on my head. I get migraines and these actually work better than the ones I have purchased that are made for migraines. A few more of the spots where the velcro sticks would be nice but they are really great anyway. I have had two of these for years. I gave one to a young friend who needed it so I had to get a replacement. I fold them up and put them in a quart size freezer bag when I freeze them. It keeps them clean.
