Koch 7441100 Roller Chain, #41, 10 Feet

This is the second chain I replaced on my aging reel mower, the first one cost me $65 from my local repair shop. So when another chain broke, I looked into replacing myself. I'm glad I did. I was able to cut and install this on my 20" TruCut Reel Mower, it was easier than I expected. It includes a master link to easily connect the chain together. I purchased the Roller Chain Breaker 7725010, which was a necessity for me. This is the second chain I replaced on my aging reel mower, the first one cost me $65 from my local repair shop. The chain seems to be good quality. I build motorized bikes and this is an upgrade for them. I have used the Daido brand before and it was tough to remove a link for sizing. This one wasn't a snap to do but was more reasonable. The big surprise for me was that when you open the box, the chain is in a continuous loop. There is no end. The chain has to be broken once to create an end and then again for the appropriate length. Not awful, but braking roller chain is not fun work for me. I would not hesitate to buy again.

chain! I got chains yo!!! Yup, a nice roll of chain. using it for a minibike project. worked perfectly for what I needed.....seems the description didn't mention it comes with a master link, so that was a nice surprise. So if you need just one, you won't need to buy one , but they're cheap and it's never a bad idea to have a few extra anyway. So you know....if you need some chain, buy some. You'll be pretty stoked that you did...

If you believe you're paying a premium for Koch chain in order to purchase an American product you're only half right. You are paying a premium, but the Koch chain and chain breaker are both made in mainland China. Quality is acceptable, but the price is unjustified.

First off, some other reviewers stated their chain is continuous and had to be cut twice before they could use it. There is a connector link on this chain straight out of the box. You just have to find it. This chain was easy to break and worked flawlessly for my project on a mini-bike. It is very heavy duty and comes well coated in packing grease (not enough to soil your hands, but it keeps it well lubricated). I have no complaints about this chain whatsoever, and if you're in need of a #41 chain, then look no further.

I Bought this chain as a replacement for my homemade bicycle that has an 88cc motor on it. This stands up to the abuse of the little engine and i only had to adjust it 2 times after installing it. It has minimal stretch, and it was 10 feet long so i got 2 chains for the price of 1! This kit does come with 1 master link. Great purchase.

I have a 1977 Motobecane moped and this chain was perfect as a replacement drive chain. Be sure to buy a chain breaker to make it the right size. (Koch's chain breaker worked perfectly.) It came with enough for two chains and it was less than a single chain from websites that specialize in moped parts. To clear up any confusion, this DID come with a master link.
