RIG 500 PRO Multiplatform Gaming Headset for PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One with 3.5mm with Dolby Atmos for Headphones 3D Surround Sound - 50mm Speaker Drivers

I been going through headsets to find that "perfect" one for me. I can say finally found it with this headset. Its very comfortable, super light weight, with good clamping that doesnt feel like my head is being squeezed, while also allowing me to be more animated during intense gaming sessions. The included Dolby Atmos for my pc is a huge bonus... playing games like the new Modern Warfare 2, battlefield, and more, I can tell a significant difference from your typical "7.1* virtualization vs what Dolby Atmos does.My pc has an Alienware command center that has its own 7.1 virtualization option for any headphones i plug in via the 3.5mm jack. While it does really well, I noticed a huge difference in directional accuracy of object-based sounds when I disabled Alienware's audio enhancements, and switched my sound settings to use Dolby Atmos. Comparatively, I liked the equalizer in my alienware software better, than the one in Dolby Atmos. However, When it came to the accuracy of where to locate object basedsounds, the virtualizationWith these headphones, I also get to take advantage of 24 bit audio vs 16 bit audio My pc is capable of letting me experience. Most of my previous headsets were wireless headsets, that were stuck in 16 bit audio, since the drivers and or my system didn't allow me to make use of the 24 bits my soundcard was capable of. The difference is night and day. I used wireless headsets, due to the fact I kept going through wired headsets, because they all use the braided cords, which for me, always got twisted up and would cause the connectors to get too much tension on the wires inside the headset, or jacks, and they would come lose, and I would lose sound in one, or both speakers. This headset is better, (in my opinion) for the mere fact it comes in replaceable parts. The earcups (speakers), earpads, even the cable that connects the two, are all separate. so if i ever get a lose wire, I don't have to spend another $100+ for a new headset. I can just replace the parts.Also, the first time I logged into discord, to chat with friends I play with, they immediately told me I sounded way better than before. This is due to a combination of my pc being able to utilize Alienware's command center's mic enhancements, (which for my system, only works for mics I plug in via 3.5mm jack into my laptop) and the fact the boom mic on my Rig 500 is extremely good quality, for a headset.Also, I normally do not write reviews, however, this product as a whole (between the headset, and access to Dolby atmos for my device) has truly inspired me to write this

My daughter kept taking mines.. so for Xmas and as a last minute present I bought them. arriving on the 24th.. i have no complaints other than the way it was packed - just as you see them on the picture… and of course she got home first.. Sooo i came home disappointed and wrapped them anyways.. but on 10 layers, each of a different xmas wrapping and heavy duty tape .. lmao. Great headsets btw.

The headset was perfect for like a week until one of the rubber pieces that keep the headset up on your head broke, so now it pushes down on my ears when I wear it and makes it extremely uncomfortable.

The noise cancellation on this mic is absolutely insane, I can be talking and bang on my CHEAP desk very lousy and it won’t pick it the banging, I can clap my hands right in front of the mic without talking and it doesn’t pick up the clapping. Audio is pretty good, I would like more bass for for the price of this. Very good!

It worked fine for the past year with a few hiccups, until the cord failed. They don’t sell the exact replacement cord so hope you buy a compatible cord. Or get a Warranty

We love the RIG headsets, it's literally all we've ever used. The ONLY thing I would change is that instead of having to flip your mouthpiece up when you want to close your mic, I'd put the control switch back on the cord like the RIG 400 headsets. Other than that one personal preference, it's a great buy.

Sound is great even without Dolby, really comfortable, only issue I have is that people in the party can hear my game audio sometimes (when something loud in the game happens) but it’s probably because I have the volume all the way up because I play siege, so that’s the only reason I give it 3 stars

Really like the Rig series of headsets. Light and very comfy. If the audio settings are up on the xbox remote, then the adjustment on the cord can make them plenty loud. Came with a dolby subscription card, but haven't tried whatever that does yet. Happy.

Llego en perfectas condiciones. Escuche mucho de estos audífonos y más por que tiene Dolby Atmos, apenas los estoy probando, hasta ahora suenan bien, no se siente mucho el bajo pero es aceptable, aún no lo he probado con el Dolby Atmos activado. Seguiré probándolo y posteriormente actualizare mi comentario.

Por el precio es un producto muy bueno, la comodidad de la diadema es innegable, se siente mucho muy ligera, los colchones de la orejera son muy cómodos y se inclinan para que se amolden mejor a tu forma, la cinta de arriba es muy cómoda y prácticamente no se siente al utilizarlos, la calidad de audio es muy buena, mejor de lo esperado para el precio, y el micrófono tiene muy buen sonido, de los mejors comparado a otras marcas que he usado antes como corsair, unos muy buenos headsets por un muy buen precio, mas el extra de los dos años de regalo de dolby atmos es un gran paquete.
