This strap was great once I figured out how to use it. I was traveling to Europe with a box of gifts for my family and I needed a strap for easy carrying. All went well, I even had people ask me about it at the airport. However, my first stop in NY proved disappointing because when the box came out on the luggage belt, the strap was missing. I am sure it was stolen because the papers that had been attached were still there! It would be nice if there were someway to lock the straps so that they couldn’t be removed. They were securely attached and would have prevented the box from opening. I was upset the strap was gone!

Wanted to add a temporary handle on the long side of my wife's carry-on case (we have the same design case, mine is newer and has a side handle that Her's lacks). This is inexpensive, quite strong and does the job, with the only problem being the length of the straps. The "leftover" portion is a bit long and I have to find a way to tuck it in somewhere or it will drag. If the unit had a loop like the one on a man's belt to hold the excess strap, I would have given it a 5. I could cut the excess, but then it would fray, and I wouldn't be able to use the unit for anything else but the luggage. I also wish the handle height was adjustable. It feels solid and comfortable, but I would prefer it to be a lille more "low-profile."Again, it does what I needed, solid and sturdy and a lot cheaper than buying a new suitcase... :)

i want to buy this for all my city friends it’s so insanely practical and simple. this thing has saved my arms so many times while carrying oddly sized boxes on public transport, or even just walking to the post office.

This strap makes the carrier handle more manageable. We can secure the strap with a seat belt. The criss-cross design is also backup in the event that a carrier has a certain failure.(Note: The carrier in this photo has held up well on its own and has plenty of screws around the sides. I've known of two cases in animal rescue where a different style cat carrier came apart and cats escaped. In one tragic case, a cat was never recovered. The above carrier has screws and has more of them than other carriers in this size. It does not have clips, which have proven unreliable in the above-mentioned cases. Still, a carrier's reliability is subject to the attention provided by the last person that tightened the screws and/or clips, or closed the doors--especially a top-loading door.)

Useful when carrying an otherwise awkward bundle.

What a horrible mess! There was no instructions enclosed with the product. I spent hours trying to figure out how to use it. The picture on Amazon is not a proper depiction of how to use this product. I am so upset and disappointed! I do not recommend this product!

I do on-the-road IT repairs and lots of times I'm carrying boxes and my tool kit. Wrapping this around a big box, or a stack of a couple small boxes, makes getting in and out a lot faster.

This product is very short, you cannot use is big boxes, only for 12x16.
