I purchased several to use for our clients to step out of the pedicure chairs at the salon. We go through a lot of them in a day since the mats are changed out for each client. The quality is excellent for the price. They are soft, absorbent, and thick enough for our needs. The mats have held up very well being that they are washed daily. So far, there has been very minimal fading from the daily washing, with no pilling or fraying. They look very expensive and our clients love to have something that looks high end to step on. I will definitely purchase more in the future.

I've used this style of shower mat for years and I love them. Avalon mat is the best I've ever tried. I have small shower area, so I fold the mat in thirds and it's the perfect size to step out of the shower on. It doesn't slide and is very cushiony since it's three layers thick. Excellent price compared to the high-end mats I previously used. I purchased beige which is more of a taupe color and perfect for my bathroom. I will be ordering in sage.

Looks great - well made, pattern is distinctive. It is a bit slippery on tile floors, so you may want to take that into account. Quite the deal -- well worth the price.

Very good quality cotton bath mat. The finish edges work was questionable. Since being a seamstress, I machine sewed to reinforce the edges and binding all around each bath mat.They machine wash and dry very well. Stayed true to shape and size with NOShrinking!

I don't normally write reviews, but had to make an exception in this case. These bathmats are exceptional in every way: color accuracy, absorbency, design, softness, quality, and most important to me, thickness. If they were any thicker than they are (1/2"), they'd be a rug!

These are the best quality bath mats I have ever purchased. They feel luxurious under my feet.

I have been looking for bath mats that would extend the length of my shower so no matter which sliding door one exited, we would land on a mat. Unfortunately, when I opened the package, the "mats" were no thicker than a regular towel...in fact weren't even as thick as my bath towels....and seemed to be charged more money than I remember. I had put them down in front of the shower to determine if they fit the space, which they did. Then I went to answer my phone. Unfortunately, when I returned from the phone call and had decided to return the mats, one of my cats had "christened" one. I'm not one of those purchasers that would return something that could not be resold to someone else....so the mats are now in the washer. I will use them in the other bathroom in front of the sink and toilet where I won't necessarily subjecting them to dripping shower water. Lesson learned. I will shop for specific mats only in shops where I can actually feel the quality of them - unfortunately, those national houseware/bathroom stores are closing quickly. Don't expect much of these mats.
