This is a good quality remote start switch. It has a comfortable grip and a positive press button, nice 5' long leads which are well insulated, decent spring clips with proper soldered connections, and a red indicator light to show the circuit is hot. The leads are also separate, the switch mechanism I'll bet has a good power rating, and there's even a 'use only in neutral' warning near the button ha. OTC think of everything. This is a high quality tool which should last a very long time when used correctly on starter motor solenoids (don't connect it to ground, or inline between battery and main starter motor terminal, across the battery terminals, etc). Not sure what 'Made in USA with globally sourced components' really means, but I'm pretty sure those components are from China like most everything else OTC. Still a good tool for a good price, so I'm not complaining. A guard for the press button (like Snap-On) would have been nice though. btw. remote starter switches are mostly not used to actually 'start' an engine, but just to crank it over eg. when performing a cylinder compression test. They are not really intended for inching a crankshaft around to set valve clearances (but if that works for you.. fine). Recommended for sure.
