Spectre Performance 42563 Stainless Steel Hood Pin Clip

These hood pins are great for my project truck. I took the truck apart and started building it from the ground up. With the truck being a 94, it was not manufactured with airbags, therefore, I felt no need to put a dash back in after removing it. Not only did it remove a lot of weight, it also eliminated the necessity of having a lever to pop the hood. That is where these beauties come into play. They add a nice touch of style to my truck, and they don't just look good, they work great! Installation doesn't take long at all! You won't find a better product for the price

Easy to install. Keeps the hood shut. Cheap. Chromes rusting already but I don’t care they’re on a beater and literally just keep the hood shut cuz the latch is rusted out

Worked great for are race car held up to 128 miles a hour yep did the job was delivered fast so we got them on before the race

Easy to install and very secure. Only issue would be the rusting. I don’t much care, but you get what you pay for, and these are still a good value for the price, and quality.

Worked well, have had them for months and have no issues, haven’t rusted over because I clear coated them!

Purchase this set for my 76 Corvette was disappointed that the eight screws are not stainless they will Rust had to purchase stainless ones to keep a decent look very disappointed

Installation was a little tricky at first but they work like a charm. Easily hold my hood down going 80mph with a broken hood latch. Affordable and reliable

Great looking chrome hood pins they were easy enough to install they were a bit hard to install on my Jeep Cherokee due to the original latch but I managed to mount them next to the only latch so now there are 5 methods that hold my hood down hood won’t be coming up on the highway any more

Good solid units

These chrome hood pins are a great product. The finish isn’t perfect, but they do the job and keep the hood securely closed on my race car. For the price, they’re a solid choice—functional and look good enough!

The price was right and shipping was fast The quality looks OK to me. Went on easy but they should anyway.
