I have one these, same exact type, that is. Not sure how many 'pulls' you have because the thread is very thin and if you strip it it will be useless. **Q: Is the watch wind-up or battery powered?** A: It appears to be battery powered. **Q: Does it take batteries and, if it does, does it come with them?** A: Mine stopped working. It comes with a 377a watch battery. The tool to open the back of the watch as shown in one of the pictures does not come with the watch.
