It is super bright on high and turbo mode, the other modes are more than adequate for any camping/ night activity. Battery life is great with the supplied battery, I also bought a larger capacity Fenix one as a backup. In the many reviews on YouTube I have watched before making my final decision they point out the lack of a direct charging port on the body of this flashlight. If ever you have used any outdoor gear with one of those rubber covers you will know that they more than often break off or become damaged, allowing dust and water in. So in my opinion a flashlight without a charging port is a positive rather than a negative. No it can’t stand tail up but it’s a flashlight not a lantern! No it doesn’t have 10 ways of changing the light modes, what it does have is a simple on off switch at the back and a button to change the modes at the front, nice and simple!! Also less to go wrong! This flashlight can use different types of batteries too so even if you can’t charge the rechargeable batteries you can use standard ones too, yet another positive in my opinion.
