Beware! This produce ships from the UK!
I purchased this as a small splurge for my birthday and waited a long time to get it as it came from the UK. When it arrived the Amazon box was intact, but the product box was soaked with acrylic ink. The only reason the outer box was not soaked well, is that the product was shrink wrapped. Only a little bit leaked on the inside of the shipping box. The contents are 6 glass bottles of acrylic ink, with no padding, in a thin box that is shrink wrapped. The Amazon UK box had one piece of packaging paper for an overseas trip! I had planned to return the item, but my postal center estimated $50.00 to return it! It's definitely not worth returning. So, I finally opened the box to see if any of it was salvageable. Yuck! What a mess! It was filled with gooey ink and broken glass. 2 bottles were completely shattered (black and gold). one had a cracked lid and was half full as it won't seal (copper?). Three bottles appear to be intact and are covered in the other colors (white, silver, & bronze, i think). I've wiped and and rinsed them as much as possible and will see if their seals are still intact. This was a costly and disappointing experience!

Transparent set
I just got into dip pens and have been using watercolor as ink to practice. However, getting consistent color from watercolor is not easy. When I saw this set I thought it was pretty inexpensive to have some liquid acrylic to get color consistency. For starter I like murky and neutral colors so I automatically like these 3 colors. The liquidity is high compared to a Dr Ph Martin Spectralite liquid acrylic I also bought at the same time. All three colors have very similar consistency. I really like how they show up on paper (cheap copy paper).

Favorite Inks
Liquitex Acrylic Inks are fabulous to work with! They have excellent flow, pigmentation is perfect, metallics show bright and vibrant on every surface I have tried them on (paper, wood, metal, fabric). As a mixed media artist, these are a vital part of my supply list.

Brilliant, quality inks, work well with acrylic
I'm a multi-medium artist and do everything from fabric sculpture to mixed media painting. I've been using acrylic inks for years now and have to say there was a bit of a learning curve but if you enjoy Abstract painting, these acrylics inks are incredible and you can create really stunning art with them. Here's a sample of one of my paintings. Liquitex is a reliable brand and they offer a fair price-point for the quality. It's important you have good brushes, too and practice using the inks at first because they dry pretty quickly and unlike water color you really can't go back and re-activate them with water on the paper. Happy creating!

I am so unhappy with this set of inks.
I am so unhappy with what I got in this set. I almost feel like it should of been some type of joke but it’s real. So first I’ll talk about the muted gray. As you can see in my added pictures is that the gray they put in the bottle is really something more of a purple. Thats just the start. The muted turquoise is straight up blue. There’s no turquoise about it. And it isn’t even muted. The muted violet and pink are not really opaque at all. More like a transparent color.I would have to say the only two colors that were right was the muted green and the white. All together it make me wonder why the heck they would package up a set with wrong ink colors. I would of rather got two on one color then a set with 4 out of 6 wrong. I mean how hard is it to mix a gray? The worst part is that some of the other peoples reviews talk about this type of thing happing all the time. I think I’ll be looking for a different brad that’s more consistent with there inks. This is the first time I have to say “I do not recommend this set.” I will be returning for a refund.

Not for acrylic pours
Rubbish for acrylic pours. It mixes together too much and is nowhere near a solid enough consistency. I appreciate it refers as acrylic ink but markets itself as an acrylic pour starter kit. Not true.

Doesn’t act like ink
I don’t know if it’s just me but these don’t act like ink they act like a watered down acrylic paint. When you put ink in a acrylic pour or try and use it for ink art it spread out like a bloom. This acrylic ink does nothing it just sits like a blob. I wish I never bought this at all. I colours are not that nice.

Poor packaging
Would love to say they are great inks, however they arrived smashed. Lovely red ink soaking the contents along with my worktop. Packaging needs to be revamped based on others with identical issues. Inner box looks like it had a tumbledown Mt. Everest.

Good for airbrush better for paint brush
My experience for Airbrush painting!Good acrylic ink. I expected a bit more opacity.Flows nice through my airbrushes right from the bottle.Makes the same but faster Tip-Dry as Schmincke Aero Color.
