The sound is superior to the S4i. The bass is plentiful but clear, the mids and highs are uncolored and beautiful. They aren't fatiguing at all to listen to for long periods of time. The MS02 is very comfortable and provides a nice seal in my ears with the medium size tips. The cables appear to be durable and are pretty tangle free. The amount of sonic pick up from the cable is very small, similar to the S4i, which I found was very tolerable.Before trying the MS02, I tried the Klipsch R6i and the Sennheiser CX300ii and was not satisfied with either one. The sound of both of these was inferior to the MS02, and the sonic pick up of the R6i cable was very loud. Also, the cable of the R6i is designed to be tangle free, but is so large and heavy, it pulled the earpieces out of my ears with very little movement.I don't have experience with expensive IEMs, but I can say the sound of the MS02 is startlingly good when compared to the other in ear headphones I've tried. I'm very happy with my purchase, and would recommend the MS)2 to anyone that enjoys music.Finally, the first pair of MS02s I bought had a minor cosmetic flaw. I contacted Thinksound, and they replaced them very promptly. So it feels like they are very interested in maintaining great customer satisfaction! The sound quality on these are spectacular, better than any earbuds I've owned before. I spend a lot of my day with my headphones, so I definitely recommend dropping a little extra cash for that upgrade in quality. The sound isolation is also surprisingly great on these; you wouldn't expect earbuds to be as isolating as these were.Unfortunately, after 6 months of use, the right earbud no longer works. I take very good care of my earbuds, never pulling from the wire and always making sure they're properly wrapped up for storage. However, yesterday the right earbud stopped producing sound, and would cut somewhat in and out if you moved it around in your ear a bit. This was a bit disappointing as I had expected these to last longer for the price point. I want to buy another pair for the sound quality, but it's a bit expensive for how long these last.But all in all, this is a good product with great sound quality.
