What are best battery for trv?

As far as I'm aware a trv is a valve for water and doesn't require batteries. However if this is a typo and you meant tv? Usually the batteries are aaa or aa. From my experience they tend to be the smaller aaa and I use Duracell as I find they do last longer.

I’ve been charged VAT on recent order of batteries, vat not mentioned on product page… answer appreciated
