Amazing for tension headaches
Thsi may look like some sort of medevil device, unstable, not worth the money, some strange fad exactly how i felt until i tried it.I didn't believe this could support my head so I placed a thin pillow underneath head and placed this on my bed as I was not going to take any risks incase this couldn't support my neck and head .Using this for the 1st few time s does feel odd but the almost instant relief this provides from tension headaches (back of the head/op of the neck) is amazing you feel the pressure being relieved almost instantly. The hammock is easy to set up / dismantle comes with it's own carry back and is light enough to be carried around. The price may seem high for what you actually get but the benefits for this out weigh the initial cost. The material used in the hammock appear to be well made and is very comfortable and the hammock poles are made of durable material that does support your neck in the best way possible.I can't recomend this hammock any higher than 5* if i could i would give this more stars as it's life changing for me and my stress headaches.

Sturdy but no proper usage instructions
Hubby and I both suffer from neck pain, so we were eager to try this as we thought it might help. We were in a car accident a few years ago; someone rear ended us as they weren't paying attention and didn't see that we were stopped waiting in a queue of traffic at a roundabout and we both suffered whiplash; our insurance company provided physiotherapy for us both. The user manual tells you what's included, how to fold it and that you can use it on the floor, bed or sofa, but it doesn't tell you how often you should use it or for how long at a time!It seems comfortable and supportive but neither of us have experienced any benefits so far, but that could be because we don't know how long we should use it for or even what particular ailments it will help, or if results will be delayed. I had to bend my knees up as lying on my back causes lower back pain, and knowing if that's normal would also be of benefit. There's very little information on the product page either, so I really would expect to be given proper usage instructions and information. Maybe if you're seeing a physiotherapist and they've recommended this then you will have been told what to do with it, but we were both discharged from our physiotherapy sessions a few years ago, so our neck pain is intermittent nowadays, thankfully.Hopefully, with continued use it will make our bouts of neck pain less frequent, but that's going to be difficult to judge.

Not great for £60....
Due to the nature of my job (artist), I often find that my neck hurts from constantly turning my head when drawing. As a result, I decided to give this neck hammock a try to see if it would offer some pain relief. In honesty, I felt that it brought more inconvenience than anything else.I will give credit where credit is due. This hammock is flat packed (so easy to store and transport), lightweight and easy/fast to assemble. However, I noticed that no matter what surface I set it up on (carpet or wooden flooring), the neck hammock wobbled slightly and hence felt it wasn't that safe to use. This is because over a prolonged period of use, the hammock could completely fall apart and my head would hit the floor abruptly. Hence I have deducted some stars for the unstable base.Everything else was comfortable, a good quality memory foam sling which was also adjustable to ensure I find the 'sweet spot' each and every time. Overall, 3 stars unfortunately.Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Works really well, but very pricey!
I think this is a great device that really does help relieve neck pain! If you suffer from neck pain, then you likely have a special pillow which pushes your neck up a bit further to relieve the pain - this hammock here does a very similar thing! The hammock does swing about a bit if you don't like perfectly still, which is actually a good thing for training your neck muscles, but could be very bad if you have some sort of spinal injury and you should definitely stay away in that case. While the hammock is great and works really well, it's crazy EXPENSIVE in my opinion! £60 for a couple metal rods and some fabric is extortionate and I honestly can't recommend it at this price. I wouldn't pay more than £20 for this as there's really not very much going on to warrant it being that expensive to be honest!

Unstable for me
This is a neck hammock priced at £59.99, at present you can apply a voucher making it cheaper. It is designed to be portableand comes with a carry bag for convenience. It is designed to relax the muscles with gradual stretching, they state it could help relieve headaches, shoulder pain, muscle tensions etc.It has a foldable metal stand which is where you connect the straps, it just slides into a groove at top which is a little awkward. The straps have a bungee effect and the bit where you place the head has some memory foam pads.To be honest I didn’t know which way to place the strap, so I tried it both ways, neither felt comfortable for me.The instructions are vague and it doesn’t really give any proper information or instructions. From research it says you shouldn't use a neck hammock for more than 15 minutes at a time, and if you experience any discomfort with the product, discontinue use immediately. So I then tried the product, I don’t really feel it was doing anything. My head felt like it was wobbling a little and I didn’t particularly enjoy it. I tried moving forward a little from the stand but it just felt like it would topple over.It just felt like my head was resting it didn’t feel like it was stretching at all. I have another neck traction device that was a lot cheaper and worked a lot better for me.Personally, it didn’t work for me, I’m not saying it doesn’t do the job as others have obviously found it effective but I didn’t notice any difference at all.
