My hair is super flat, straight, plentiful, and fine. No product ever held any kind of style...until this magical powder. Through trial and error, I find the smallest amount does the best job. I can sleep on it and poof it out the next day. It holds up in the rain, too. I can run a brush through my hair, and it still allows me to adjust my style. It works best on short hair, but as I am growing my hair a bit longer, I find that it still works for me giving volume when I never had any.

This hair styling powder is fine enough not to leave residue that you can see on your hair. It adds volume and styling power when used.

Ingridents are clean and do not appear to have chemicals that cause hormone issues. Holds up nicely and giving more texture for finer hair. Nice product

The way I use this product is by washing and conditioning my hair, drying it about 75% of the way, and shaking it around in my hair. I ruffle it around to my liking and then add some hold spray to keep the form. Some days it looks great... some days not so much. Pros: easy to apply a little goes a long way not hard to mend with your fingers nine times out of ten gives a solid result Cons: extremely messy, will get all over your bathroom counter unless you do it over your shower TERRIBLE to breathe when this is being applicated. Breathing in that fine powder feels awful. A little expensive, almost runs like a monthly subscription When holding spray is added, it becomes very rough to touch. Overall it works well for what it is, but could use more product in the bottle. **ALSO** washing this product completely out of your hair can be a nightmare. What I do is to use coconut shampoo and then conditioner. I find myself needing a LOT of conditioner to do this.

This powder (flakey powder) floats everywhere in the air around you when you shake it on your hair, the same way talcum powder does. I worry it could cause respiratory problems if used often. It does “freeze” hair into your style. But nearly impossible to comb once it’s on your hair. Leaves hair with a weird texture. Not thrilled. Will not buy again.

Tribal Chimp powder works exactly as advertised for styling and volume. It holds my hair in place all day long. The only downside is that it leaves a pretty weird feeling on your hair when you touch it. If you don't mind the strange product texture, the styling results are good.

Bought this for my boys that have different textured hair. It works well for both of them. I even use it on my hair that is flat and limp. Give it’s a bit of volume at the roots and bonus that it keeps the oils in my scalp from getting my hair greasy same day as washing.

With this price for a small item (10mg) I expect atleast the packaging is worth the price. The box is not sealed and the powder opening not sealed as well. So when you open the powder is spilled on the cap. You can’t say if its new or used also.
