Low calorie, delicious, what's not to like?
Sweet Freedom's CHOC SHOT Salted Caramel is a delightful indulgence for those who crave rich flavors without the guilt. From the very first drizzle, its consistency is striking - thick enough to feel luxurious, yet fluid enough for ease of use. The blend of chocolate and salted caramel is harmonious, striking a perfect balance between the deep cocoa richness and the buttery caramel undertones with just the right hint of salt. With only 13 calories per serving, it's astonishing how Sweet Freedom managed to pack such a robust flavor profile. It's a dream come true for calorie counters and health enthusiasts looking to satisfy their sweet tooth. When added to hot milk, it transforms a mundane drink into a sumptuous hot chocolate experience. Beyond beverages, it also works wonders as a drizzle over desserts, pancakes, or even fresh fruit. The product's versatility is truly impressive. Moreover, in a market saturated with artificial flavors and sweeteners, CHOC SHOT stands out with its commitment to natural ingredients, which is a big plus for health-conscious consumers. However, as with any product, personal preferences vary. Some might desire an even richer caramel note, while others might find it just right. In conclusion, Sweet Freedom's CHOC SHOT Salted Caramel is not only a healthier alternative to traditional syrups and drizzles but also a gastronomic delight that elevates beverages and desserts to a gourmet level. Highly recommended for both its taste and nutritional profile.

Deliciously Rich – A Perfect Addition to Hot Chocolate!
First Impressions: I bought the Sweet Freedom - CHOC SHOT Salted Caramel for my girlfriend to enjoy with her hot chocolates, and it’s been a real hit! The rich caramel flavour adds the perfect touch of sweetness, with just the right amount of saltiness to give it that irresistible balance. It’s easy to use – just pour it into hot milk or chocolate, and it’s good to go! Taste & Performance: The salted caramel flavour is spot-on – not too overpowering, just the right level of sweetness with a slight salty kick that makes the hot chocolate taste amazing. It blends really well into the drink and gives it a smooth, indulgent flavour. It’s become a go-to for making hot chocolate even more luxurious. Ease of Use: Super simple to use – just shake the bottle and pour in a small amount to your hot chocolate (or any hot drink). The texture is nice and smooth, and it mixes in effortlessly. My girlfriend loves how easy it is to enhance her hot drinks without having to deal with complicated syrups or powders. Value for Money: For the price, Sweet Freedom CHOC SHOT Salted Caramel is a great way to elevate your hot chocolate game. A little goes a long way, so even though the bottle is on the smaller side, it lasts quite a while. It’s a great treat that doesn’t break the bank and makes hot chocolate feel special. Pros: ✔ Delicious salted caramel flavour that’s not too sweet ✔ Easy to use – just pour into your hot drink ✔ Blends smoothly with no clumps ✔ A little goes a long way ✔ Great value for the price Cons: ✖ Might not be rich enough for people who like a very strong caramel flavour ✖ The bottle could be a bit larger for those who have hot chocolate frequently Final Thoughts: The Sweet Freedom - CHOC SHOT Salted Caramel is a fantastic addition to any hot chocolate lover's collection. It makes drinks taste extra special and is super easy to use. My girlfriend loves it, and it’s definitely earned a spot in our kitchen for many more hot chocolates to come! Very versatile to add choc flavour and colour
This is really useful for adding to many different desserts. You can make imitation rolos by adding it to yoghurt and options drinks. (Videos are available to see how to do it) Great for Slimming world followers.

A healthier hot chocolate choice?
I do like this, it has a strong minty taste and makes a nice hot chocolate, but if you’re looking for something with a rich chocolate taste you may be disappointed. This may be because most of the flavour/sweetness comes from Carob rather then cocoa. I have tried both the chocolate and mint chocolate versions and find that the chocolate one has a slight artificial aftertaste that the mint one lacks. Maybe the mint covers it? The product description states it’s “Half the calories of leading brands of solid chocolate and 85% less fat… hugely popular chocolate substitute for dieters”. I read that along with ‘13 calories per teaspoon’ and ‘no refined sugar’ and thought it would be the ideal substitute for Cadbury’s hot chocolate in my reduced sugar diet. Since buying a bottle I have done the maths and Yes, a mug of Sweet Freedom hot chocolate has better Nutritional values then Cadbury’s but it’s not by drastic amounts. (To be fair to both brands, most of the sugar and fat content comes from the milk you use). I worked out the nutritional values of a cup of hot chocolate made with 200ml of Tesco milk and thought I’d share:- 20g of Cadbury’s (C) or Sweet Freedom (SF) & 200ml of semi-skimmed milk: Energy Kcal: (C) 180.4 / (SF) 152.8 Fat: (C) 4.72g / (SF) 4.34g Fat of which saturates: (C) 3.02g / (SF) 2.54 Carbohydrates: (C) 24.8g / (SF) 19.8g Carbs of which sugars: (C) 24.2g / (SF) 18.4g 20g of Cadbury’s (C) or Sweet Freedom (SF) & 200ml of skimmed milk: Energy Kcal: (C) 151.4 / (SF) 123.8 Fat: (C) 1.32g / (SF) 0.94g Fat of which saturates: (C) 1.02g / (SF) 0.54g Carbohydrates: (C) 25.2g / (SF) 20.2g Carbs of which sugars: (C) 24.6g / (SF) 18.8g If you drink a lot of hot chocolate it maybe worth the swap to Sweet Freedom. If you only indulge in the occasional cup then you could probably treat yourself to something with a richer chocolate taste.
