2 YEARS LATER. STILL A RIDICULOUSLY HAPPY CUSTOMER!!! **READ FOR DETAILED REVIEW
***UPDATE: GOING ON 4 YEARS with this bag and it is still in nearly perfect condition. No wear and tear showing on it anywhere. All zippers are still working as well as the first day I had it. Despite using it non-stop for a lot of heavy textbooks and traveling cross country with it at least once a year (usually more). It is just as comfortable nearly empty as it is completely chocked full. I am so impressed with this bag. Can't even give enough good reviews for it. Wish I could give it 10 stars out of 5.Guys, I cannot rave about this bag enough. I have been using it for 2 years now. I have used it almost every single day at Clemson University and when I'm not using it there, I'm using it to travel to California, Maryland, Florida, etc, etc. It is amazing in every way and I know for me, I did so much research on finding the right bag that after how satisfied with this I am going to give a detailed review. Like really detailed because this bag deserves it. I usually have to replace a bag every year or so and this one is showing NO signs of wear after 2 years of hard use. So bare with me! If you are one of those people that cares about every little detail, you will love this review.- Hidden back pocket:I use the hidden "butt" pocket to put my large wallet in and I love that I can reach back without taking my bookbag off and grab it/put it away without having to take my bookbag off. I can also zip that pocket up and make sure it's secure. I can also put in any other small/important things in there and I love it. It's especially useful for travel to put your plane/train ticket in, passport, ID, wallet, etc. And its right next to your back so there is no way of anyone stealing it from you without physically taking your bag.- The straps:I have to rave about them before I get into all the other pockets. I use this bag while traveling and in the summer and winter. This means that sometimes, I have big jackets on or other bags on my shoulder. The straps of this bag are very thick and well supported around your shoulders and neck at the top. This has made a huge difference for me (I already have back problems) so I am able to carry an entirely crammed full bag, and it doesn't feel like it is that heavy on my back and shoulders. Now, the other part of this is that the straps are so easily adjustable that when I had a large jacket on, I just pull the tab and it lets out one strap so it easily slings off my shoulder. Then I can throw it back on my shoulder when I'm ready, and insert my thumb so easily into the thumb tab on the bottom of the strap, then I just yank it tight and it's ready to go. Super amazing for travel and running from class to class. Its really one of my favorite parts about the bag!!! It took me a while to figure out that it had that option but I use it EVERY DAY now. Also, the top handle strap is extremely thick and allows me to pick up my bag easily no matter how full it is and I can hang it from that handle (which I do a lot) and it has shown absolutely NO signs of wear despite carrying a ridiculous amount of weight) (unlike normal book bags that have those cheap polyester handles that tear so quickly).I also have a fair thick winter/rain jacket that I wore almost every day from October-March and I am able to lay it across the bottom of the straps behind my back and it feels like it isn't even there. I love this because I hate having to carry things across campus or in the airport when I need other things in my hand. The straps are at the perfect placement so that the jacket rests at he arch in my back (and I'm a thick girl so there isn't much of an arch) and it hands out the sides slightly and its just perfect. Makes my life so much easier and ensures that I don't forget my jacket somewhere.- The two front pockets:I love these as well! I use the bottom pocket to put things like an extra tube of mascara, chapstick, random essential oil tubes that I like to have on me, I sometimes throw durable snack bars in there also (I say durable because this is the main area that your bag will lean on so I wouldn't put a nutrigrain or similar type of food in there that can break apart easily). Now, the TOP outside pocket is my absolute favorite. I throw all of my favorite pencils, pens, erasers, my wireless mouse, my headphones and usually a pair of sunglasses in there. It is super quick and easy to grab stuff from this pocket no matter where you are (for instance, when your bag is stowed under an airplane seat, is it extremely easy to access this pocket). It is accessible to reach while the bag is physically on your back. It is also extremely roomy so I can fit tons of stuff in it.- Side (drink) pockets. These pockets are really great because they are highly flexible/adjustable. There is a mesh thing inside that allows you to put anything in it and then an outer more durable zip up piece, so you are able to unzip it, place your cup or whatever else in it, then zip it up to secure it. I can literally throw my bag across the room and my cup stays in it (usually a Contigo coffee cup and a hyrdoflask or similar.) It can fit REALLY large bottles but I usually keep them normal sized because I don't want to carry a ton of weight around campus. I also like to throw my keys in this pocket and have the lanyard hang out so I can grab it easily to unlock the door I work in while on campus. I am able to throw the main part of keys in the mesh pocket, then zip it up and they are entirely secured until I yank on the lanyard and it comes out. It makes things so convenient for me.- The laptop pocket:This pocket is really great because its so secure behind the straps of the bag. The straps are very robust and its great knowing it cant be taken out of my bag without the bag being off my back. I have also found that the padding within the pocket is really great. In previous bags, the bottom padding was either not enough or wore out quickly and caused damage to my laptop from thumping it down on so many various floors due to the amount of books I usually carry. I have had the same laptop now for 3 years and it is in perfect condition despite me being less than careful when throwing my bag down between classes and when I get home. A+++ in this area.-The front medium pocket:This pocket is great because its really the "catch-all" for me. Sometimes I have it nice and organized and sometimes its just all thrown in but it holds SO MUCH for such a seemily small pocket. It has the nice organizer that holds my giant calculator (T-84 with a giant case) in one of the pockets, plus various pens and pencils) but generally I throw all of the random stuff in this pocket. My laptop charger, 2 pencil pouches, deodorant, spare pens and pencils, a ruler, and usually various snacks. That is just on a day to day though. When I've traveled, I've literally held and entire changed of clothes (INCLUDING TENNIS SHOES) in this pocket. I LOVE IT.- The main pocket:This pocket is the most important and it does not disappoint! It is SO large that I can comfortably have 3 thick binders, two textbooks, a kindle, 3 notebooks, and a "bi-folder" that holds all of my various papers. That exact list is the limit I've put it to and it passed this test admirably. There was STILL room. And especially at the top, I could've still place a pair of tennis shoes in the pocket on top of the books. Now, it is not every day that I need to carry that much stuff, in fact, for my back's sake, I try to carry only what I need for that day. With other bags, it feels very weird to carry a large pocketed bag with only a few things in it. I always hated it. However, this semester, I have generally been carrying only 1 notebook, (Less than an inch thick), my bi-folder (mostly empty), and occasionally my kindle paper-white. You would think it would feel like a hollowed-out husk but yet, it still feels like it was a bag only made for such a small loud. It's really great being able to carry a heavy load or a light load and it is equally as comfortable. A++++++ in that area as well. All of that didn't include though the great pockets within this pocket. There is a large pocket that I like to use for my Kindle and actually soon it will be a pocket for my Remarkable tablet. Its the perfect size and offers some separation and protection from your general notebooks or textbooks. I also really love the zipper pocket and two small pockets at the top. I use the zipper pocket for private things (like feminine products) because its nice and hidden and I can descreetly pull something out of this pocket while looking like I'm just looking through my notebooks. The two small pockets next to the zipper pocket are great as well. They are the PERFECT size for a regular scientific calculator and its so nice being able to just quickly open my bag and grab that calculator within seconds. I do wish there was another pocket on the other inside area of this pocket but I guess that probably would busy that area too much to be able to fit textbooks as easily.-The material:This material is really great. I often have to throw my bag down on rough ground (cement, grass, rocks, etc) and it has shown literally no signs of wear besides a very small stain or two from mud. My friend accidentally walked by my backpack and another girls backpack with a piece of equipment that hard a sharp end, it tore my friends back in half and it didn't even make a mark on my bag despite my back getting a much harder hit from the piece of equipment. When it comes to rain, I would say it is 95% waterproof. The material seems to soak up the water a bit but I have never had a single thing inside my bag get wet, despite being in very heavy rainstorms and sometimes having to walk in them for miles. I really have put that to the test and have never had so much as a wet pencil. Highly impressed with it.- Color:I tried to add a bunch of pictures to show the color but they don't show the real color very well. It is a sort of darkish and muted purple which I love because it is a lot more professional and it can really be great for a guy or a girl. I would also say it leans a little towards Burgundy but it is definitely still on the purple side. The coffee cup I have in it in the pictures is a glossy/brushed crimson so that can give you an idea of the color. The cup I'm holding in my hand in the pictures is a royal purple so between the two, hopefully you can get an idea of the color. If you are still reading at this point, I hope you don't waste your time looking at other bags. This one is worth WAY more than they are selling it for. I still can't believe I only paid that amount of it. It's beautiful, durable, comfortable and so much more. I LOVE IT!! (As you can tell).

High quality and holds up well
Bought one a couple years ago. Loved it. My teen daughter used it for a full year of school this year and it is still in great shape. Bought another for myself. Plenty of space, great fit, gorgeous color.

Great backpack.
Bought this backpack for my wife and she is thrilled. Well constructed with excellent organizational pockets. Very well thought out. We mainly use it for airline travel and it's just the right size - having plenty of space but not oversized. Provides good laptop protection. Also nice color. Overall, great backpack and value.

Excellent
It is a very strong fabric, beautiful color and so great for traveling. It fits everything you need for work and more.Update: After traveling with this for a year as my work computer bag I love it even more. It is so durable and holds so much! I esp love the strap on the back holds it on to my suitcase for easy gliding anywhere. I have had a few water bottle leaks inside the bag and they didn’t leave the compartment to spread to the other sections of the bag (saving the electronics in the back compartment). I have also walked with it through the rain and whilst the outside gets wet all my contents were still dry. A little damp around the seams but for the most part all my papers were still dry.

Exceeds expectations
I was looking for something smaller, like the Lapaker slim laptop backpack, but it is currently unavailable. This one is actually a perfect size for travel and seems very durable. If you’re like me, and want to bring on a flight a carry-on bag, a purse, and a backpack, you know how difficult it is to squeeze everything into the backpack. But this is large enough to fit laptop change of clothes, a book a meal, various accessories, and my huge purse.I have only written a few reviews on Amazon before, but wanted to do so because this is a really nice backpack. My review was not solicited.I’m loving the rich purple color too. I accidentally/water on it in the airport bathroom, but it is waterproof or at least water resistant. It seems good quality in terms of durability.I’m still interested in the smaller backpack, for going to work, so that I bring less work home! I hope they make it available again soon, and in the purple color!
