This was very easy to install on the door of my shed. I am using it as the top lock on the inside of the door and it is very sturdy and works as expected. Highly recommend this lock.

Installed this latch on a gate for my vineyard. The structure makes getting the holes drilled for the screws a little tricky, but nothing. The latch itself is very nicely made, with a handsome burnished finish, sturdy construction, and a spring with just the right amount of tension. Highly recommend.

So I bought these guys for my carry on trailer from tractor supply. I’ve struggled finding the correct length. I bought two of these and punch of the little catch pin. Disassembled it. Slid the actual bold in and measured where I need it to sit. Drilled a hole where I needed for my trailer. Had to cut the spring down a little and reassemble throwing out the hub assembly(if that makes sense) on my trailer and worked great and way cheaper than buying the replacement stuff from tractor supply. Hope this helps folks in similar situations.

This door latch met and exceeded all my requirements needed to keep my barn doors closed and secure. The latch is easy to install in all kinds of materials and it is one strong latch. I will recommend and endorse this latch.

Ordered one for a stationary shed door latch. Came with a 1/2 “ pin. Ordered the same latch for a smaller shed door latch. This one came with a 5/16” pin. Disappointed, but I used it anyway, as I didn’t need as heavy a pin & would be suitable for the intended use. Both latches seem to be good quality. The larger pin has a heavy gauge metal frame. The smaller pin has a correspondingly lighter gauge frame. Easy to install. Gave 4 stars due to different size.

I had a 14x12 shed constructed with a double door. I used this on the with out a door Handel to keep closed

Did to job great. Use to secure one side of shed doors. Installed quickly and has worked well for the last few weeks. The doors to blow open during storms now!It did not come with mounting screw, so you will need to provide you own.
