Dwyer® Digital Pressure Gage, DPGW-08, 1% Accuracy, Compatible Liquids & Gases, 0-100 psi

I use these every day at work in my R&D lab. They are compact, easy to operate. One 9v battery goes an extremely long way with these. So, no power cords get in the way. I have found them to be very accurate when comparing pressures to other pressure gauges on the same steam or water lines. I have found them to be great with steam, water and air pressure readings. They are very sturdy and Dwyer is my most trusted brand for digital pressure gauges like this one. I have owned six of them and only replaced one in 8 years. But, the replacement was do to user error and not because of a flaw in the design. It was used on a steam line without a snubber or pigtail. I also like that it has about 5 or 6 different units of measure that can be displayed. Although, I only use it for PSI and Inches of Water Column.

Great product for a more accurate measure.

I used this gauge for checking residential boiler water pressure. It works much better than the analog Watts water pressure gauges. You just need to be mindful of the water temperature when using the gauge and also not letting water freeze inside it like any gauge.

It's a great little gadge. I use it for testing ground loops.

Though I love the functionality of this gauge, along with the ability to read in PSI, FT and IN, there are a few things that really bug me about this gauge. First off, this gauge is not backlit. Taking readings in dark or dim places absolutely requires a flashlight. Secondly, even with the boot on, this gauge is not water repellent. There have been a few times the gauge stopped working due to water getting into the internals. Peets plugs are notorious leakers and water will drizzle right down the outside of your hoses and instantly penetrate the gauge, shorting it out. Thankfully it began working again once taken apart and thoroughly dried out. For the high cost, you'd think this gauge had at least some water protection (rubber gaskets rings) but it does not.

Using to check loop pressures on Geothermal hvac systems. Wish it had a backlit screen to see it better on dim basements. But other than that works great
