I had seen this on a few YouTube videos? Fell in love with it and as my birthday is coming up soon thought I would take full advantage of the low ,low price. So first of all its big. It's got great height to it and the whole feel of it is quality. The watch its self could have just been a lump of metal on the wrist. But as its made of titanium? You honestly could forget its there. I have G-Shocks that are heavier! Don't get me wrong that takes nothing away from the watch? It's really well made. The bezel has a comforting " click" not brash and loud. Subtle. And it lines up perfectly with the dial. The brushed look of the strap and case makes it look way more expensive than it is. And talking of the strap, the micro adjustment is spot on. It's a hot day today and I found that as the day went on I could just click, and it was comfortable again on the wrist. The dial, is beautiful, a waffle effect that catches the light just right to give it a nice depth. Sapphire glass. With AR coating. It needs that as the depth of the dial is deep. I was out in full sun today and didn't have any issues seeing the time. The only thing I can say ( And I am nit picking here) is the rotor inside? It be noisy. There was a few times I wondered what the noise was. BUT I reckon a lot of this has to do with the case material? As I have the Caliber 9051 in one of my other dive watches and its no where as noticeable. And as I said I am nit picking. Only problem is now I have to put it away until my birthday. 😔 My wife has a mean streak! 🤣

Brilliant watch. Very well finished. The movement has an excellent reputation for reliability & in my opinion Citizen mechanical watches are highly underrated. Citizen has always produced great dive watches. Superb value for money. Quite chunky so best suited to larger wrists. The titanium construction results in it being a lot lighter than it would appear at face value. Warranty is 5 years which is longer than most competitors. Servicing is affordable which is something often overlooked when purchasing mechanical watches. The movement has a higher beat rate than most in similar price range resulting in a smoother sweep of the second hand. The trade off is it results in a shorter power reserve time of 42 hours but that doesn't bother me. I prefer the smooth sweep. The bracelet has removable half links which provides smaller size adjustment increments. It also features a quick adjust mechanism allowing you to find the perfect fit. The self winding weight does occasionally make a slight whirring noise but that is completely normal nothing to be concerned about. The sound is not intrusive.

A really good watch light and strong , I've had many divers over the years but this beats them all .

There are numerous video reviews on YouTube for this watch, so I'll refer you to those rather than repeat the same info. One thing that isn't mentioned to my knowledge is that the applied hour markers are semi-circular and quite small, especially considering the size of the watch. As a result the lumed centres of the markers are quite disappointing when compared to other citizen promaster watches on a lume test. This is a shame when you consider how much more expensive this model is. Having said that, it is about the only thing I can find to complain about and I'm not knocking off a star for it. The watch easily makes up for it in other areas. The super titanium looks, feels and wears very well. It looks like it belongs on a Klingon space ship. The construction and machining of the case, bezel, crown and bracelet have a high-end quality to them. This coupled with the new 4 Hertz anti-magnetic cal. 0951 Miyota movement and double-domed sapphire crystal makes the watch good value for money. If Seiko made this watch, goodness knows how much they would charge. Somewhere north of £2k perhaps?

Prrfect

Premetto che sono osservazioni prettamente personali. Ero alla ricerca di un orologio diver 200m che avesse uno stile proprio, al di fuori dei soliti schemi, ma nello stesso tempo originale e unico. Un orologio di una bellezza che piace o non piace, massiccio ma nello stesso tempo leggerissimo, le dimensioni impegnative, ci vogliono polsi strutturati. Ottima vestibilità, lo porti sopra la muta e sotto la giacca, fa la propria sporca figura. Tutto in supertitanio durateck, praticamente non si lascia rigare neanche come l'accio inox, leggerissimo pesa 135 gr, in acciaio ne avrebbe pesati 250 minimo. Lo stile unico ne fa un pezzo unico, ottima leggibilità diurna e notturna, il vetro zaffiro bombato dona visuale in tutte le angolazioni, la lunetta protegge bene il quadrante ed ha un ottimo grip per regolarla. Curato nei dettagli, con lunetta intarsiata e dotata di viti per eventuale pulizia, il bracciale è parte integrante dell'orologio, con regolazione per sovramuta e claps perfetta. Meccanismo con fermo macchina, molto silenzioso con il rotante interno per ricarica che si sente quando gira per caricare il meccanismo. Attualmente dopo un mese di utilizzo, posso concretizzare che il meccanismo guadagna circa 9 secondi al giorno, e sono contento così, poichè meglio che va avanti che restare indietro. I miei Seiko Sumo e Orient Triton e M Force ttirano sempre indietro, per cui meglio questo Citizen a mio avviso. Il prezzo è nella norma del prodotto e della propria qualità, meccanismo e cristallo zaffiro è tutto titanio puro, grigio e massiccio. Provato in immersione in piscina, non fa una piega neanche in impieghi gravosi come trekking e arrampicate. Non penso minimamente di sostituire il bracciale con il suo originale di gomma, in quanto questo è comodo di suo e veramente bello. Attualmente, dopo mesi di utilizzo continuo anche in ambiti gravosi, con fango e acqua salmastra, devo affermare che è un carro armato di solidità. Inoltre dopo mesi di uso continuo, l'accuratezza dell'ora è passata dai 9 secondi dia di anticipo, ai 7 secondi dia e si è stabilizzata. Nulla da eccepire neanche sul cristallo zaffiro, nonostante sfregamenti di sabbia e altri materiali di sedimento, la superficie è rimasta inalterata.

Eine rein subjektive Rezension für eine Uhr, die sehr speziell ist. Damit meine ich, dass dies meine persönliche Meinung ist und diese sich aus Erfahrung, dem Tragen, dem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, aber auch der Vorliebe für wuchtige Taucheruhren zusammensetzt. Dies ist meine erste Uhr aus Titan. Was wurde gesucht: Eine große Taucheruhr aus Titan mit Automatik-Uhrwerk, Metallband, mindestens 20bar Druckfestigkeit, im Preissegment bis max €700. Was wird geboten: Eine wuchtige Taucheruhr aus Supertitanium, mit Titanmetallband, drehbarer Lünette, verschraubter Krone, zuverlässigem Automatikwerk mit Sekundenstopp, flüssigem Zeigerlauf, 40Std. Gangreserve, Datumsanzeige, Saphirglas, verschraubtem Gehäuseboden und 20bar Druckfestigkeit. Das Ganze um, je nach Angebot, zwischen €620 - €890. Warum Citizen: Weil ich bereits 2 Uhren dieser Marke besitze und bis jetzt sehr zufrieden bin und ich mich Designtechnisch eher zu dieser Marke hingezogen fühle. Aber ich sehe auch hin und wieder über den Tellerrand hinaus (Seiko) und habe auch noch andere Marken im Portfolio. Das Erscheinungsbild: Diese Uhr ist weder auf einem Foto, noch in einem Video, so darzustellen, dass man eine konkrete Vorstellung davon bekommt, ob dieses schmucke Stück zu einem passt, oder nicht. Das Ding ist eine Wuchtbrumme und dennoch dezent, was sicherlich auch an dem Titanband liegt, das einiges in der Optik schluckt. Ihre pompösen Dimensionen sieht man der Uhr nur seitlich an und trotzdem wirkt Sie nicht überdimensioniert. Es ist schwer zu beurteilen, da vor allem dem persönlichen Geschmack geschuldet, ob einem so etwas gefällt, oder nicht und man muss schon einen Faible für große Uhren haben. Das ist nichts für gerade mal modern, aber definitiv zeitlos. Das Automatikwerk: Solide, mittlere Qualität mit Sekundenstop und 40Std. Gangreserve. Zuverlässig, antimagnetisch und erprobt. Hier kann man getrost zugreifen. Citizen ist jetzt nicht unbedingt ein Noname China-Ticker und kann sich wahrlich mit Schweizer Standardwerken messen. Das Armband: Titan, what else? Ganz ehrlich, wenn schon Titangehäuse, dann auch ein Metallband aus Titan. Was würde es denn sonst für einen Sinn machen, eine im Verhältnis geringe Uhr, mit einem Kunststoffband zu kombinieren, wenn man eines aus Titan bekommt, das auch ein geringes Gewicht hat und wesentlich höherwertiger ist ? Zudem passt es optisch einfach besser zur Gesamtharmonie dieser Wuchtbrumme. Das Kürzen des Metallbandes ist durch Halbglieder individuell einstellbar, aber mit Vorsicht durchzuführen, da die Metallstifte mit kleinen Sprengbuchsen in den Mittelgliedern gesichert werden, und diese herausfallen, wenn man die Glieder trennt. Bei Verlust ist ein sichern des Stiftes nicht mehr möglich. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis: Die robuste Uhr bietet solide Technik, in Verbindung mit hochwertigen Materialien, in tadelloser Verarbeitung und ein eigenständiges Design. Abhängig vom Angebot kann man im Rahmen bis knapp €700 von einem durchaus guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sprechen. Mehr würde ich persönlich aber auch nicht ausgeben wollen, ohne dafür zusätzliche Upgrades zu bekommen. Der Tragekomfort: Trotz starkem Schwitzen und Metallband, trägt sich die Uhr beim ausgiebigen Wandern sehr angenehm. Keine Scheuerspuren, trotz der doch eher markanten Metallglieder und Schließe. Auch kein dauerndes schmerzhaftes Zupfen an den Armhaaren. Ich beschreibe das Tragegefühl als unauffällig. Fazit: Ich habe den Kauf nicht bereut und möchte Gleichgesinnte dazu ermutigen, sich diese Uhr genauer anzusehen. Ich finde 5Sterne hier gerechtfertigt, da meine Erwartungen erfüllt wurden. Trotzdem ist und bleibt es individueller Geschmack, meiner Empfehlung zuzustimmen. Update: August 2024 Nach ausgiebigen Tragen, beim Schwimmen, Wandern und etlicher anderer Freizeitaktivitäten, kann ich keine negative Eigenschaft ausmachen und trotz des bereits als markant erwähnten Titan-Armbandes ist das Tragegefühl angenehm unauffällig. Keine Scheuerspuren und vor allem kein lästiges schmerzhaftes Zupfen an den Armhaaren, wie bei manchen Metallbändern üblich. Das Uhrwerk läuft bei meiner Uhr sehr genau. Ich bin sehr zufrieden damit und bekräftige meine Empfehlung.

El reloj es precioso. Debo admitir que tenia dudas por lo alto que es, 4.2mm si no me equivoco, pero el fino acabo del reloj y ese bonito color gris mate hace que eso no sea importante. El acabo del bisel combina perfecto.El color de las manecillas en naranja es genial. El reloj pesa poco para el tamaño que tiene (un shock oak pesa mas). Sin duda este reloj vale la pena para el dinero que se paga. un 10 de 10. Mi próxima compra será el Citizen Aqualand BN2040-84X.

L'une des meilleures montre réalisée par Citizen. Entièrement en titane, y compris le bracelet, avec un traitement spécifique du titane qui limite considérablement le risque de rayures. Mouvement automatique, index lumineux qui tient tout la nuit sur les index et les aiguilles. Attention toutefois pour régler le bracelet, des entretoises minuscules assurent le serrage des axes des maillons, ne les perdez pas et munissez-vous d'une pince à épiler afin de les réinsérer.
