**Q: Why would you need a battery in a solar powered light?**
A: There is a battery in most, if not all solar objects - the light charges the battery which is what causes the bulb inside to light in the dark.

**Q: How do you replace the batteries when needed?  Is there a video showing how?**
A: To replace the battery you remove the screws holding the housing together and open the unit to access the battery. We have a detailed battery replacement video on the AllsopGarden YouTube channel, just search "Allsop Garden Battery".

**Q: Do you keep the switch "on" all the time? Or do you have to keep turning it on and off?**

**Q: How long do these lanterns stay lit if only using solar battery power?**
