6-mo Update ... Perfect for my need! Great Seller comms.
Electric Garlic Chopper, Mini Portable Veggie Chopper - I adopted a 16yo 6lb almost-toothless Chi last year. He's on low fat, low protein diet, so finding treats Ziggy didn't need to chew, with his dietary requirements was not easy. I would mince "solid" treats with a knife, then mash the pieces all by hand. Not difficult, just took time and I do have arthritis in both hands to boot (76yo). I decided to see if any choppers were out there that would make it easier, and found this little item. It does maybe cup-size batches of foods (I suggest nothing super hard or crunchy, but maybe it would - I can't say from experience, tho it does work on "solids"; see info on listing) and I would only be putting in a small soft/solid treat (not breakable by hand). It was perfect!! I only had to use a small knife tip to mash a few tiny bits still too big for Zig. So much easier for my hands and quicker onto Zig's tongue (he recognizes sound of chopper and waits next to me while I do the prep for him). If it works that well chopping/mincing small dog treats, I expect it can do as well with foods. It's easily cleaned so if I need mine for human food use, I can just wash and use! My first one had an odd accident after several days, and a blade tip jammed on a treat and made it difficult to get the post with the blades off the motor attachment because the nut inside the pole cracked and expanded inside the roller. When I pulled the pole off the motor peg using pliers (the blades are very sharp) the nut stayed on the peg. I contacted seller, gave them info and pix, and a new one was on its way quickly. Communication with seller was timely and friendly, right from the beginning and thru the replacement. I love my little chopper, as does Ziggy Stardust, and am very happy I made the choice of this one! And I love that it charges on usb cord!! It's been about 2 weeks I've had this, and it's great to not agonize over buying him appropriate "soft chews." (One that would finger-crumble with low fat do not exist lol) I would give this as a gift, should that occasion arise. I very highly recommend this item if you like making spreads, or need to mix a bunch of small ingredient amounts for a recipe. I could do several treats at one time, but then would not know how much to give him when he should only get 1 a day. Blessings, all! Happy holidays (coming soon). So, Electric Garlic Chopper, Mini Portable Veggie Chopper, 250ML, which is not electric, btw - it charges with a USB cord that comes with it - was perfect for 6 mos, but apparently using it 1-2 times a day to chop dogs' sort-of-soft chews for my toothless Chi is about the limit for the motor. That possibility never crossed my mind - if one can recharge it with USB it will last forever!! well, maybe ;) Anyway, I'm not going to keep buying them every 6 mos, but I wanted to add that bit of info to the review, since I was so in love with it when I first got it and basically said that in my original review. I guess if it's used only a couple times a week or some such it will function longer, just due to not being used as frequently as I used mine. Back to mincing chews with a knife. Blessings, all!

Never charges
This product did not last longer than a month. It always flashed the light saying it needed to be charged and no matter how often or how long I would charge it, it would not turn on. It was useful when it worked and easy to clean but better off getting a manual chopper so you don’t have to worry about charging. This is also on the smaller size so I would have to chip in batches. It also didn’t cut as evenly as I would have liked but it was quicker than using a knife.

It does the job
The product worked for what I wanted it to do....chopped carrots, onions, celery. As far as durability only time will tell as I have only had it a few days, so I gave it 3 stars on that. Cons: Clean up was easy except for the bowl, it was hand washed (don't have a dish washer) the ridges made it difficult Bowl does not lock to the motor section and if your not careful will fall off and potentially break when it hits. Pros: It works for me Capacity is good Cordless Powerful All said it was a purchase I would make again and I am truly satisfied with it. as knives and me don't mix very well. Yes a knife is still necessary but you will end up with chopped carrots, onions, garlic, celery , etc. and not chopped fingers :~).

No more garlic fingers!
This little gadget is the best. I bought my first one 3 years ago and it’s still going strong, and I loved mine so much that I’ve purchased a couple others for family members. So for starters this little mixer obviously isn’t for anything crazy BUT it’s absolute magic for mincing garlic and not having to worry about your fingertips smelling like garlic for a couple days. I’ve also used it to mince peppers and it works like a charm for that as well. The blades are sharp which is impressive for the overall size of the chopper. It’s super simple to use also, all you have to do is charge it for a bit with the cord that’s included and then pop in whatever you’re trying to chop/mince and hold down the button to let the machine do its job. Also when it comes to the charging aspect of it, yes, it does require you to charge it before each use practically because it does die while not being used but with that being said you can charge it for 5-10 mins before using it and it will provide you enough energy to get the job done. With all that being said I honestly would recommend this product to anyone and everyone. It’s the perfect gift to give someone, the perfect little kitchen gadget to have in your home and insanely easy to use and time saving.

Gets the job done.
Unit is a little bit flimsy but does the job of chopping as long as you're don't overfill it. Will only work well with vegetables. I tried a little bit of hard cheese and it wouldn't work. I have not tried nuts or anything else. It's handy because of its small footprint and the fact that it's not plugged in. So far I've used it about six times on the same charge.

Decent Electric Garlic Chopper with Room for Improvement
I recently tried out the Electric Garlic Chopper, and while it has its positives, it also has some drawbacks. Here's an honest review of the product: Positives: Time-Saver: The Electric Garlic Chopper definitely helps save time in the kitchen. It quickly chops garlic cloves, reducing prep time for recipes. Easy to Use: Operating this chopper is a breeze. It has a simple design and intuitive controls, making it user-friendly even for beginners. Negatives: Capacity Limitation: The chopper's capacity is somewhat limited, allowing only a small amount of garlic to be chopped at a time. This can be inconvenient when dealing with larger quantities. Inconsistent Results: While it chops garlic efficiently most of the time, I've experienced occasional inconsistencies in the chopping quality. Some pieces were unevenly chopped, requiring additional manual chopping. Durability Concerns: The overall build quality of the chopper seems decent, but I have some reservations about its long-term durability. It feels somewhat flimsy and may not withstand heavy-duty or frequent use. In summary, the Electric Garlic Chopper offers time-saving benefits and ease of use. However, its limited capacity, occasional inconsistent results, and potential durability concerns are areas that could be improved upon. For occasional or small-scale garlic chopping needs, this chopper could suffice, but those with higher demands might want to consider alternatives.

Love it so much I’m buying and upgrading size
I’ve owned this for 3 years now and it’s still sharp as ever. I get scared to wash the blade because of how sharp it is. My husband dropped it once and cracked the bottom half probably 2 years ago and cracked it a little bit, but we’ve never replaced it and even with the crack has held up perfectly. I’m looking to finally replace it, but only to upgrade to the bigger size since we’ve been chopping little by little like dummies.
