Non magnetic but no need for that
It would be great if adapter is magnetic. Bits fall off constantly if not supported by finger. Maybe I’ll be able to magnetize it myself or stick a magnet to it. Update: just realized that if bit pushed harder into adapter it snaps into place and holds there strong. Bringing stars from 3 to 5

What's In A Name?
Okay, I wanted one of these for years, but I didn't know what to call it so i could look for it. One day inspiration hit, I searched for Micro Bit To 1/4" Adapter, and that was close enough. Success! What this does it it lets you use your little tiny micro bits with a full size screwdriver handle for Improved Comfort. This also gives you enough torque to chowder your micro bits -- don't do that.

Good alternative to magnetic bit holders.
This allows you to use the "micro" 4mm bits in a 1/4" bit driver using spring retention instead of a magnet. I use this for edc purposes since 4mm bits are more compact but 1/4" drivers are more ubiquitous. There are a lot of companies that make this same thing that use magnetic retention instead of spring retention. The spring gives the 4mm bit a tighter fit in the adapter than you get from magnetic adapters. They don't wiggle as much. And the bit will never fall out, you really have to pull hard to remove them. If you want something that's quick and easy to pop the bits in and out I'd get a magnetic one, this is actually a little hard to insert and remove, but I like that. It's also longer than your average magnetic adapter which personally I like. It allows me to use the adapter as it's own little screw driver for things likes eyeglass screws. 4mm bits are pretty tiny, for tiny screws, and sometimes a tiny screwdriver is better than a larger one and for the smallest screws the adapter can be a stand alone mini screw driver (its 1.5" long, almost 4 cm). I took off a star because on the 4four1/4" bit drivers I tested this on it didn't fit in one of them. The reason it didn't fit is because the stainless steel sleeve that holds the 4mm bit is a larger diamter than the darker steel 1/4" end that fits in the bit driver. So on one of my drivers which was deeper than the rest this adapter didn't fit deep enough in the driver to reach the magnet. Luckily I was able to file down the stainless steel part to get it to fit.

A Must For Your Tool Box
My electric screw driver when out and bought a new Mijia Electric Screwdriver Gun. Problem, I couldn't use the very useful micro bits that came with my electric screw driver. So I bought this item and now I am able to use all those micro bits with no issues. Make sure you push all the way in so the spring can catch them. Worth every penny.

A very niche tool.
A tool for a compulsive tool collector. If you need it go for it otherwise save your $8+.

NOT MAGNETIC
The microbit holder is spring-loaded, but it is NOT magnetic. Additionally the silver part of the holder is a non magnetic metal, so you'll have to magnetize your bits not the holder.
