Cast Away in the Cold An Old Man's Story of a Young Man's Adventures, as Related by Captain John Hardy, Mariner

Really enjoyed this book. Would highly recommend to anyone. I heard of this book in Theodore Roosevelt's autobiography. It was one of his favorites and it did not disappoint.

An OK story of being castaway but rather standard stuff overall. Seems there was always an unforeseen something to pop up and save every desperate situation in the nick of time. To be fair, this was probably written specifically with 10 to 15 year old boys as the intended audience.
