WEL PACCuttlefish, Saki Ika, 2-Ounce (Pack of 6)

Ordered 2 different brands, this one definitely has more sugar than the other brand. They are good and sweet, if that is what you're wanting. For me, just regular dried squid like we get in Malaysia was what we were after. Would recommend though to anyone who likes their a little sweeter than average.

This is my beef jerky of the sea. The umami is addictive and you just have moments when you have to gnaw on a hunk of this.

I've been eating these ever since I was a child. My family would buy them at our local Mitsuwa, and if I wanted to eat them I'd have to take them before anyone else got their hands on it (they went very quickly in our house). I saw these on Amazon, and it looked like a great price for a packet of six, but now I regret buying them because they made me horribly ill. I noticed they didn't come with an oxygen absorber which I thought was quite suspicous because they usually do. Immediately after eating two packets of these I had some of the worst diarhea in my life, and, no, I've never been allergic to seafood. I put the other 4 packets in the freezer for a couple days, and it didn't seem to cause me any diarhea after that, maybe some gas. Anyway, I won't be buying this again from Amazon, and I think I'll stick to my local Asian grocer.

Living on the mainland most of my life, but sometimes I get a taste for snacks from Hawaii. Yum!

I love dried squid. Iike. That's really all there is to say about this, the monosodium glutamate is amazing and I love it and I would recommend this to anybody who enjoys MSG and things that taste great. If you're not a fan, you're probably going to think you're chewing on a dried squid. Which you are.

Tasty high protein snack. It's got a bit of sweetness, but not too much. It is 'fishy', so if you don't like 'fishy' things, you might want to try a single pack from Netrition, VitaCoast, or one of those vendors. But if you do like fish snacks, this is great. The sodium isn't low- but protein and calories are great.

I buy Japanese groceries often in Atlanta, and thought I would try purchasing this online. The product is just ok - it is very dry and seems a bit sweet for me. I bought a package and will finish it to snack on, but probably won't purchase this brand again.

The picture shown for the ingredients is wrong. I was very much looking forward to having cuttle fish without red chili pepper and such. It seems to be unavailable anymore. And it tastes sweeter then it used to. I used to love this brand too. I'll be honest, I'm disappointed, and won't be buying again.
