It works well enough but you need a flashlight and a magnifying glass to try and read what the buttons do. They are all the same shape and are organized in rows so other than memorizing them there's no intuitive way to discern them. The remote control works and is easier to read. As another user mentioned there is a removable microSD card that maybe music can be put on but my laptop doesn't even register its been inserted. Overall decent product for the sale price we paid.

I paid around 40$ for this thing to use for fighting insomnia. The circulating stars and calming music really works. It kindda hypnotise you and you fall asleep...IF...you control the device correctly as there are 2-3 very energetic songs (one Xmas song) that pops out of nowhere and if stresses you out of falling asleep. There are 2-3 songs I like... but when you put a timer the song stops abruptly when the time is up which again wakes me up. I can't imagine the effect on a kid :S There is only one shape for the top part and 5-6 songs, so it's not that versatile and gets redundant quickly. There are a few colors and color mixes, but anything with red makes the room scary and with yellow, the room very bright (but that must be OK for kids who are scared in the dark). When not in use, the device produce a continuous white noise sound. All in all, I kept it cause it works for my issue now that I figured out how to bypass all the issues and it was the best rated one I found, but I found it was overpriced before seeing it at 40$, even more after, and now that I see the price went up at 70$ I would say it's not worth that at all. I could hack something better with trash in my recycling bin and my phone... for like 5$

I was pleased with this product. The music was not what I expected but works well enough.The motor that turns it can be heard over the music if the music isn't very loud. This bugs me a bit but luckily acts as almost a white noise for the kiddo so he's happy with it. The stars project around the whole room which is nice. I love having the remote. Did NOT come with a wall plug! It came with a USB plug which worked for me but may not work for someone else.

This is one of those things that as soon as you open it, you KNOW it's going to be defective somehow because it's just sooooo cheap and crappy - both in look AND feel. All it has to do is play music and light up LEDs, and it stopped playing music after 3 nights of use. Just gave up and doesn't want to play music anymore. Sending back this $50 paperweight - except it's not really heavy enough to hold down a stack of papers.

Delivered with the top cracked.Then the batteries would not work, had to return this unit.New unit arrived and works like a charm, now I am happy with this product!
