Not just for milk frothing
Love this thing! Works well for frothing milk or just mixing dry product into your drink. I use it to mix my collagen into my hot coffee, and to mix my hydration drinks and protein drinks too. Great value, easy to clean. The battery cover can pop off frequently if not put on properly.

Great product
I just love my milk frother. I used it for my eggs and they turned out nice and fluffy. Very easy to use. I wasn't sure I would like one, but I do.

There's something wrong with the design
I bought one of these from Target, and right off the shelf, it did not work. So, I bought one from Amazon. The price is about the same. The labeling of the orientation of the batteries is poor. The black plastic with the very small plus and minus on both sides, is very hard to read for me. My eyes aren't terrible, but I need to bring the frother to the sunlight so the plus can reflect back. It is impossible for me to distinguish between the plus and the minus without bright direct light. I bought the second one because the stirring axle is beefier than others that I've had that get bent and off-center easily. The spring on the axle, I thought, might also help keep everything operating smoothly. It might. I can't say because neither the one I bought from target nor the one I bought from Amazon worked more than one spin-up, with new batteries. It doesn't seem to be a problem with the badly designed switch, that makes me doubt that I'm actually turning it on and off, or however it works. I'm guessing there's an issue with the battery contacts inside the body, which because the plastic motor housing is pressed in to the "sleek and stylish brushed stainless handle" I cannot get to in order to fool around with. The one time the frother I got from Amazon spun up, it seemed like it would spin up, but I wasn't able to find out because it never operated again. There are frothers for half the cost of this one, and frothers twice as much as this one, but they all seem to work better than this one. Super disappointed.

Reliable and effective milk foamer and utility stirrer
It just keeps going and going ... We went through many foamers until we found this product. They typically failed within weeks. We did have a Bodum fail; after years of use, it developed an internal short, I think, becoming hot to the touch and failing. We're on our second, and it's going strong after months and months. Somehow they've been engineered to give excellent battery life. Our Bodum whips up copious foam in seconds. Turns out to be handy for lots of other small stirring jobs. For example, when it's time to dissolve a teaspoon or two of yeast in a couple of cups of water, the Bodum makes quick work of it. They require two AA batteries. Look sharp when you remove the black plastic cap to change batteries and note how the curvature matches the top of the casing. You need to put it back the same way or it'll not snap into place.

Better than I expected
For the price, this does a remarkably good job of frothing my milk. I didn't have the highest expectations, but it works really well, generating a good amount of stuff milk foam. I have it 4 starts (vs 5) because It is really difficult to open it and install the batteries (you feel like you are going to break it), and it is stupidly difficult to read the battery orientation. But once you are past that, for less than$10, this is a great addition to the coffee routine.

Best handheld frother out there
I’ve had like 10 frothers and nothing beats this one. The speed and power on this is a lot better than most handheld ones. The double whisk ones are a gimmick. This is the real deal for the people looking for the best HANDHELD experience

Works well but is dying after 14 months.
I have purchased 3 aerolatte frothers 1 Ikea frother and my latest is the Bodum. It worked exceedingly well for the first 6 months. Then it started to slow down. New batteries did not help. It is now on it's last leg. Frothing is taking 3-4 times as long as previously and I never get the froth delivered when it was new. Keep in mind this is common with these type of machines. The aerolattes died within 12-18 months also. The upside of the Bodum is is is $4-5 less than the aerolattes. The ikea was cheaper than the Bodum and died within 6 months. Bottom line these are cheap functional machines. Just be prepared to replace them often.

Item was well packaged. On opening everything looked ok. first struggled to open to insert batteries, when inserted first try didn't work. Changed batteries (new) still no good. In the bin!

This is the most useful thing I've ever bought for eleven dollars. Here is what it does: 1. Froths BUTTER, milk, or Sproos collagen powder in my coffee cup directly while I stand there half-asleep and barely paying attention. It does this beautifully. My froth is as thick as a Lush bath bomb. 2. Mixes HAIR DYE! I was not having any luck getting the developer to mix in and so thought "what's the worst that could happen"? Well your're not meant to use metal to mix some dyes so watch for that, but, I used it to mix the stuff I had and it did a fantastic job in about 30 seconds. AND, the stuff was thick thick - easy to spread and didn't drip off my hair. nice side benefit! 3. JELL-O SCUM GONE. This mixes every grain of it. No more Jell-O sand at the bottom for me. 4. SCARES MY CAT. This is more for me. A+ eleven dollar product, my goodness.

This works great, I use it to stir powdered collagen with water, which is quite hard to dissolve with just a spoon. There are no instructions how to put in batteries or even how to operate it, but luckily you can find them on Youtube.

Las instrucciones están confusas y no viene con baterías. Pero funciona perfectamente

This is not good. I've got to open up the battery cover in order to turn it off, the on/off switch is not working.
