Love it.....I was a bit scared at first it was going to be mega hot, but actually its nice and not hot at all.....I love the taste and my kimchi batch turned out great. Am using it for other stuff as well so win win and will buy again when its finished

Potent in spice and flavour.
There are some nice sweet notes in these flakes. They are also rather hot, so my kimchi will be very strong.

Heat, but not volcanic
Fantastic product that adds soooo much flavour to dishes that are usually ladden with chilli flakes to the point that the heat takes any sense of flavour out of the enjoyment. This has that heat kick but without the scorching of the taste buds and allows you to pick up the rest of the flavours in the dish. More of a roasted pepper than a chilli pepper and its all the better for it. I used this for a Korean beef dish and family and friends all commented how much better it was to actually taste a spicy dish than to reach for milk etc to cool things down while eating.
