The non-stick coating was starting to flake off. Despite the non-stick feature, I never depended on it and always oiled the poacher before I added the raw eggs to cook. It was easy to use and also easy to clean afterward. I hope this poacher is as durable as my first one was.

I bought this poacher to replace one I bought 20 years ago and have used on a weekly basis since. This poacher is like an exact copy of the first one and I was very pleased with the first one. With it, I was able to get the kind of poached eggs I like, by using the right temperature and cooking time. But years of use eventually finally wore it out and I had to replace it. The non-stick coating was starting to flake off. Despite the non-stick feature, I never depended on it and always oiled the poacher before I added the raw eggs to cook. It was easy to use and also easy to clean afterward. I hope this poacher is as durable as my first one was.
