I've used a lot of peelers in my day, and these are the BEST
I've been a professional chef for 20+ years: needless to say, I've used a peeler once or twice. I used to swear that OXO were good, and even bought my mother one to help with her arthritis, but now, how I wish I had long ago discovered this set from Bobu Cuisine. These are far superior. And, you get both styles (a lateral peeler, and a cross peeler) which can be used, depending on what you are peeling, something wide and bulky like an eggplant, or narrow like asparagus. They have all the right requirements, and some extra design elements that even the super fancy high priced peelers don't have. These are: made of GOOD quality stainless steel, solid construction, the blades have stayed SHARP and won't dent like the thin cheap-bladed models, the handle is very comfortable, there's an impression in the top of the handle for your thumb or finger, and then underneath, the handle curves to cradle your opposite digit - (depending on whether you are peeling right side up, or upside down). Also, the handle is plastic (won't get hot near the stove), and there's a hole at the end if you want to hang them. I couldn't have designed a better one myself. I'm passing the word along to my coworkers to get them for their knife kits. Bravo Bobu!

Meh
Received promptly. Seems sharp enough. Comfortable to use. I like getting one of each style. Never used the "Y" style much before, but this one seems to work nicely. Haven't had it long enough to give it 5 stars yet. Will update later.update July 2019. Didn't stay sharp for long. I have long since stopped using them. Still searching for the perfect peeler

Peelers work great but confused about why there are two styles. I use them interchangeably.
I have purchased so many peelers I can't count them. I got these for the reviews I read. I'm still unsure why there are two different styles but the price was good enough that I bought them both. They are excellent peelers. They seem to take a bite of the the skin and hold on to it, so they don't slip off easily. You can practice using the lightest touch so you won't take off too much "meat." I still don't know which peeler I like best. I keep them both in my utensil drawer and whichever one I pull out, I use. I am an avid cook.

Not as good as others experienced
Got mine just in time for thanksgiving and halfway through the 10 pound bag of potatoes the larger peeler bent where it was attached to the handle. I bent it back but further peeling kept bending it back. Tried it on a medium cheese and it really didn't like that. The smaller peeler has held up. But with the bend my peeling time was certainly not reduced by a third. Not worth the price and didn't live up to the hype.

Really horrible-destroys your produce
I feel sorry for the people who think these are great peelers. I am no pro, but I use peelers every single day to the point that I am replacing because of dull blades not because I want a new peeler. These are the second worst peelers I have evr used in my life. They can peelthe first layer of a carrot nicely but once it is slick on the surface it shreds little pieces that get stuck and clog the blades. It destroyed a zucchini on the first try. It could not peel yellow squash or potatoes either. Bottomline is everything I tried was a disaster.Second problem is that the regular peelerr does not peel both ways. I peel away from me and toward me depending on what size peel i want. This shreds twice as badly when peeling toward you and it is basically unusable.Third problem is the grip. Maybe i am just spoiled but it hurts my hand to have a peeler with rough edges on the handle. I didnt realize howmuch a difference it would make to have a rounded handle until i went to this non rounded handle. After a short time it presses into your hands like the old peelers of my moms. If there was no other choice it would be tolerable because it is necessary but why have this hard painful handle when y8u can use a rounded handle that does not cut into the palm of your hand at all? These are horrible and I do not know how or why people think these are good when they destroy your produce.

So Glad That I Found These
I never really put a lot of thought into getting a high quality vegetable/fruit peeler, but now that I have tried these, I understand how much of a difference they make. My fiance has joint issues that can make it painful for her to do some things in the kitchen, but she loves to cook (so do I). The Bobu Cuisine stainless steel peelers are so effortlessly simple to use, and require very little strength on the part of the person using them. The blades have enough swivel to them to fit the contour of the fruit or vegetable, making even the roundest of them easy to peel. The wide peeler works great on cheese and hard butter as well as fruits or vegetables. The grips are comfortable and the Bobu peelers are so easy to clean, whether by hand or in the dishwasher. They work great in so many ways, and I was very happy with the shipping and delivery experience as well. What I can't stress enough however is how much easier the peelers make things for my fiance and how much they help make her time doing something that she loves to do such a less painful experience!

The quality of the peelers are pretty decent, but the size of both of these ...
The quality of the peelers are pretty decent, but the size of both of these really need to be bigger to be useful.I've tried peeling apples with these and the straight peeler is nearly useless on a normal apple. I like the Y type peeler a lot, but once again, the size of the peelers making peeling more of a hassle.
