Keeping me warm on single digit days. Very quick and easy to install
This is my second set of these boot covers. The addition of the internal heat reflective material makes them even better. Very quick and easy to install. My feet are seriously susceptible to the cold. I have skied several single digit days so far this season and they worked great without the disposable warmers. (On the coldest day I did get cold feet but after 4 runs or so). On a 20-30 F deg days my feet stayed as warm as when I put the boots on the entire day. I consider that a miracle. I do not recommend walking around with the neoprene covers on, as the webbing strap that goes under the boot can get worn out. I loved my first set so much I had the under-foot straps replaced to get a few more years' out of them. Glad to say good bye to those disposable foot warmers! Glad I didn't buy one of those expensive heating systems.

Pretty good, but don't expect miracles
Boot gloves work pretty well, and the addition of the foil kit for not much more than the price of the boot gloves alone makes this package a good value. But, there's a but.. A pretty good percentage of people who suffer from cold feet in ski boots do so because of either poor circulation, or restricted circulation caused by ill fitting boots. Boot gloves, with or without foil wrapped around the boot's liner will not cure either of these problems. In either of these circumstances my best recommendation is to find, and work with a really good boot fitter (finding one is of itself is quite a challenge). Really good fitting boots will perform well with a minimum reduction in blood circulation. Fyi boots with Intuition moldable liners seem to be just about the warmest ski boots out there. At that point Boot Gloves will help, but more realistically boot heaters will be your best bet.

as recommended. Not even close
This product doesn't even come close to fitting over my boots. I have 26.5 boots and got the medium, as recommended. Not even close. I'm glad I get free returns. Also, on closer inspection, I notices that the front of my boot doesn't close completely just in front of my toe buckle....and thus cold air flows over my toes. I covered it with a piece of packing tape. Works great.

Doesn't last
The idea is great, and does the job. However, the material isn't tough enough. After 3 days of skiing, the buckets punched several holes on the cover. Tougher material is needed.

only work in light snow condition
Putting the bootie on is easy however I can see that the band the come in contact with the sole of the boot will not last very long ebcause it is not strong or thick enough to withstand the sharp & rough edge of the boot sole. On cold days with light snow it does a good job of keeping my feet warm but on powder day over a few foot deep snow got underneath the bootie and freezed over between the bootie and my ski boot making it colder. The longer I skied in deep powder the more snow got underneath it and made it heavier and colder. Only if there is way to keep snow from getting in from underneath it would keep my feet warmer as it is intended. Maybe more wrap around or wrap underneath material to keep snow out would improve or fix the situation. In summary, I gave it 3 stars only because it does a good job on cold day with only a few inches of snow on the ground. Any more than that you got snow build up between bootie and ski boot which defeat its purpose of keeping your feet warm.Dryguy as a company has good customer service. After making my order with regular ground shipping, i found out last minute that I need it sooner. I email them, got a response back that the order was already made but they will do their best to get out to me but no promise. It did arrive within 3 days for me to bring it on a last minute trip. Kudo to the rep and Dryguy for coming thru.

Really keep feet warmer
I have had boot gloves before, and they do help on cold snowy days to keep the snow from encasing your ski boot. This added a foil type lining for the bottom and sole of the inner boot. i have to say it seems to keep my feet warmer. I had just got new boots and wore them one weekend and they were warm but my toes were cold on a 15 degree day, even with just boot gloves. i got this in the mail and put the foil stuff in as directed (google it, there is a video that shows exactly how to do it). they seemed much warmer the next weekend, which was about the same temp. So i'd say if you need boot gloves, pay the extra and get this kit that contains the foil lining. if you already have boot gloves you may be able to sort of make your own. it basically looks like that thin insulated foil you see in those 'marathon blankets' . you could probably create your own set out of one of those and duct tape maybe?? worth a shot.

Boot Socks seem to do pretty well after 7 or 8 uses.
Probably not as warm as they say but I have been able to work throuh those cold skiing says much better. I have usd them in the 15 to 20 degree area with reasonably good results, I was still a bit cool, but not like it was. Definitely worth a shot before going electric. I'm not sure how effective the foil cover for the bottom of the boot liner is, but I have that in place too. 4 Star

Waste of money !!! dont buy
I purchased this item to use in the French Alps ( temperature down to minus 10 c in December 2014 and also to be used in the snow centre in the UK) .I fitted the silver liners to the underside of the footbed and round the toe . This did not make a difference to my feet .I also experimented with wearing just one boot cover . Both feet still remained cold as each other .My advice is don't waste your money on this and go and buy a battery operated footbed heater
