Hanes womens French Terry Zip Hoodie

This is a nice lightweight sweatshirt with a hood and it’s very comfortable

This zip up hoodie is perfect for what it is. I am sick and tired of the ones with the fleece linings, those kind continue to shrink at every washing, loosing lint forever on everything , and not looking relaxed. THESE ones aren't linters or shrinkers! Soft and cozy, fitting awesomely, wash well and dry quickish, not pilling. A nice cottony feel on the skin. I have four, 4 now, and have ridded myself of the others. Wearing two at once gives you the warmth of the fleece lined ones! Alone it is a sweet everyday, take anywhere, medium warmth wrap!

Glad I searched for this and waited to find a medium light-to-medium weight zip hoodie in the exact pattern, style, FIT. Luckily, there is enough Cotton in it to be 'cooling' over the poly balance. I LOVE that the length covers my hip, the zipper is smooth, POCKETS are good (medium sz) and most of all-- no bottom Banding so it just drops comfortably! The hood covers my head if needed and sleeves are LONG enough for once! I normally wear 2X but after reading, got XL - there's ample area to be comfortable when zipped but not too big...standard fit (good bc my waist is not forgiving). The ONLY issue & it's minor: the hoodie cord is contrasting blue color. I could easily change it out to match. I am crossing my fingers when I wash that it will stay intact. Highly recommend this item.

Super comfortable! It’s been through the wash several times and shows no signs of shrinking. Would buy it again in a different color this time!

I don’t pretend to be a quality expert, but I have had a lot, a lot of garments with zippers and this sweatshirt has a quality zipper! I have never had the slightest trouble connecting the zipper and it simply glides up and down. This is marvelous for semi-arthritic hands. Ok, why did I buy it? My ears get cold when I’m in bed and cause me to stay awake. Normally my hair covers them well enough but in the past year I have started using a C-PAP machine and the headgear pushes the hair away from my ears. I tried covering my ears with scarves and headbands but when under the headgear, the mask fit was not good and when over the headgear, the headband slipped down over my eyes. Wearing this lightweight hoodie is perfect! I don’t get too hot from it and I can pull the hood up to keep my ears warm. The texture of the fabric is very comfortable and the generous fit is perfect for me. This hoodie will be a permanent part of my wardrobe both at home and on my travels.

I bought three of these because of the available colors, but the zippers came off of 2/3 of them after washes. I like the material of them, and they remind me a lot of the Old Navy hoodies from long ago, if anyone's interested. They're lightweight enough that I don't sweat in the spring/summer with them, but they do have some warmth to them. I also like the back design; there's a little extra material to cover the butt that it gives a fitted style. I really wish the zippers didn't come off... If I order more hoodies, I would probably order something other than Hanes next time.

This is French terry cotton, the sorta slubby old school type. Reminds me of sweatshirts from the 80s/90s. No elastic bottom, loose fit, no tight cuffs. I generally have trouble finding women's sweatshirts whose sleeves don't shrink up and show my wrist, but this one washed well and no wrist exposure! I wear a 16/18 and I could have gone with an XL overall and still had room, but I prefer my stuff to be extra roomy. It has long enough torso length too. Pockets aren't huge but held keys and phone without falling out and my hands were completely covered in the pockets. Great for spring/fall or a rainy summer like I am having now where I live. I got it at a great price and now I am buying another color. If you want a loose cotton zip up whose length covers the hips and sleeves won't shrink- buy this! It's going to be a favorite of mine!

I bought this sweatshirt for bumming around the house, throwing on in the evenings, etc. It's lightweight (which is what I wanted) and really comfortable. It's not flattering at all, but it's a hoodie, so that's not why I got it. It does run large though - I bought a Large (5'7", 150lb) thinking it might shrink in the wash and I wanted something roomy. It didn't shrink at all, which I'm fine with as I like that it's a little big but if you want something more fitted, go a size down. I love this sweatshirt and wear it first out of the wash.
