666 SONGS TO MAKE YOU BANG YOUR HEAD UNTIL YOU DIE

I have not read yet, just flipped through. Looks good. Each song has a written description and album art. Great book for any music fan, but especially those fans of rock and metal. I love the title!

This book is absolutely incredible as someone who collects lots of music books from all different types of genres of music this book is quite in-depth it covers heavy metal/hard Rock/punk etc from the years 1958-2019 featuring artwork and facts about the songs quoting interviews and or statements from the artist themselves. I was very shocked to see the diversity of hard rock/metal in one book usually you would have to buy separate books for that you'll have everything from Jimi Hendrix Black Sabbath Fleetwood Mac Megadeth Metallica Motorhead to Slipknot asking Alexandria machine head ulter bridge Disturbed architects a day to remember bring me the horizon and so on this is a serious must-have for anyone who is a fan of hard rock or any genre of metal from classic heavy metal to metalcore death metal etc

Normally I love a ‘list book’ like this, but having listened to some of the songs I wasn’t familiar with, I didn’t feel like I was missing much. Most of the song summaries are brief, are often just quotes taken from ancient websites, and don’t add a great deal. More words about why the author decided to include the song would’ve been nicer.

Great book wish there were more like it!
