WHen they work they are great but I bought 4 and one strand had lights not working. The way the string together is poor and difficult. 2 prong mini plug connects and then you screw it together. However with littly pressure is can strip and you never get it tight. One of the 4 power adapters also failed to work but since I was stringing mine together it did not matter.These are very close to each other, which is fine if you sting across a porch or railing.
