I actually was looking for a battery powered one, and for whatever reason this one kept coming up so I purchased it for my Byrna CL-XL . I like it the charger appears to work flawlessly I must say I am not a big fan of the magnetic Charging cord , for several reasons but it works fine. I just cant loose it. I zeroed it at just 30 feet. 45 shots later it is still on, now granted mine is on a Byrna - not a powder burner. So far its stayed together perfectly. They send a strange oval piece of metal, well that turns out to be the screwdriver for mounting it, go figure. I have carried it in my pocket and kinda thrashed on it and its holding up very well. The green dot far exceeds the distance I need at least 100 feet probably more. Anyway I am happy with it for my purpose. I would have given it a 4 because of the cord but the brightness, zero retention, weight, and ease of use in every aspect makes up for a cord that I dont like. so with its flaws its a 5 plus.
