Interesting, messy, low carb
These arrived in a box which looked a bit mangled. I don't believe that it was mangled in shipping -- I think they just had a hard time getting the box closed --The contents seem a little too big for the box.The contents seemed to be all intact. They seem reasonably well protected by the plastic containers which contain the wafers. Opening those containers is a bit of a puzzle. In addition to the thicker plastic of the lid there is a thin piece of plastic around the lid which I believed to be one of those anti-tampering seals they often put on jars. It seemed pretty thick and didn't seem to have any way of removing it short of using a sharp knife. I then realized that I could just pull the top of (twisting it as I pulled). That outer ring didn't seem to stop me from opening it and I'm wondering if that was the intent. I don't know why it is there. These are a bit hard to characterize. They are flat, round, crisp, and chocolate, like a cookie. On the other hand, they are not extra-sweet, and they have these seeds around the edge (I presume that the seeds are Amaranth seeds). They taste pleasant enough though I can't say that the seeds did that much for me. Like poppy seeds on buns, and the like, they just seem out of place -- a little extra texture which seems unneeded and while they have more flavor than poppy seeds, it doesn't really seem a necessary addition either. Also, like poppy seeds, they are messy -- it wasn't long until my shirt, the counter, and the floor had a generous dose of amaranth seeds. I'd call this a minus, but a small one.The wafers have a nice, understated, cocoa flavor and a good crunch without being flimsy. They are low in carbs though it's difficult to say how low as the nutrition label doesn't include how much sugar-alcohol is included. The whole, roughly one ounce, packet was only 89 calories. At $4 a packet, these aren't cheap but low-carb products rarely are and these are imported from Mexico, to boot. I'm torn as to whether I would order them again. If they were a little cheaper and I wasn't quite so annoyed by the mess, I probably would.

I did not enjoy these
I did not enjoy them at all it had no taste to me very thin and just opening up the package they would crumble so fast I just didn’t want to eat the rest.

Love the flavor, crispiness, and low carb content is a big plus!
I am a fan of wafers and chocolate so I decided to give it a try. They are delicious and very rich in flavor. Also because of the amaranth it doesnt feel like you are eating air - they are actually crunchy on the edges and are sweetened with Monk Fruit :) i would highly recommend them.

Surprisingly good chocolate taste snack
It was a pleasant surprise to see a new product that was chocolate. My first impression was that it was a delicious milk chocolate taste. I enjoyed the complexity of having the amaranth and the chocolate together in one wafer. I am going to try this for my evening sweet tooth at night.
