Excellent looking fan and works as described.
We bought this for a few reasons:1. The design. We wanted a silver/metallic fan that matched our furniture and decor.2. Low-profile. We needed something that didn't hang low off of the ceiling.3. We needed a replacement fan (ha).I like that it comes with a wall pad/control. It is very silent when it is on and it keeps us cool.Perfect for all of these reasons.

Loud knocking sound
This fan started making loud knocking sound from the start. I checked everything and tightness and balance but the knocking sound persisted. I have 2 other fans installe din the house with much lower price and they're working fine without any abnormal noise.

Knocking failure and wall control failed
Very nice looking and worked well when it worked. But wall controller failed within 6 months, and motor was knocking after 5 years of very low usage.

Wall Switch
We LOVE this fan. It matches our stainless steel appliances. In addition it is controlled by a switch on the wall as opposed to the pull cord on out last fan. Our only negative is the bulb which casts a kind of yellow light rather than the daylight ehitecwe are accustomed to seeing. We are looking to replace the bulb but haven't yet found the right size. Since this is not the only light source in the room it was not a deal breaker for us.
