To echo previous reviews, yes it has a unique smell compared to most incense sticks. Oud is an acquired scent profile. I have a few high end oud perfumes/scents and these sticks have a similar smell.I did notice after reentering my bedroom this afternoon, after burning a stick last night, an antiseptic smell similar to an alcohol sanitized room, albeit with that underlying oud DNA.I like this incense, but only as an occasional scent. It's not as soothing as some of my favorites.

Smells like this islamic center near me, al-Maqasid in PA. Very strong i only used a quarter of a stick for a large room. Since i use so little it should last a long time! :) its not a bad strong, its just has amazing throw, it fills up a room quickly which is amazing. I looked them up they have a website going to be buying more!

This smells amazing but there are too few in the pack.

I am obsessed with the scent of Oud almost as much as sandalwood. It calms me and makes the entire house smell amazing. Coupled with a hanging glass vessel burner, I am incredibly pleased. I will definitely get more of their fragrances.

Long story short, I've always wondered what Agarwood incense would smell like. I like some "oud" colognes...and I LOVE certain types of incense...but this just did not do it for me. For one thing, it's extremely...pungent (for lack of a better word). There's nothing subtle about it. It's pretty in-your-face. I am NOT saying it's "bad" or there's anything wrong with it. I am just saying it didn't agree with ME. As it has been said, it has a very "Middle Eastern" smell to it...and I guess I prefer more "Asian"/Far Eastern types odf incense i.e. Japanese (that's not a racist thing...please don't go there). I purchased this stuff, so I guess I will find a way to use it. I did burn some outside and that seemed to make it somewhat less...offensive....to my nose - but not by much. I wish I could return it if I'm being honest. My 2 cents...

Give it a second chance. If you aren’t used to strong incense you may think it’s terrible the first time you light it.About an hour after I turned it off, I came back to the room and it smelled amazing.The incense stays for days. And fills my living room with nice Oud smell that is very pleasant and divine. I am in love with it.I wish that they sell them in bulk.It’s addictive.
