Stuffed Animals: A Modern Guide to Taxidermy

This was a gift to someone who is just getting into taxidermy. He found it very interesting and helpful as he learns this craft.

I have always been someone who ethically sources their taxidermy, and I'm the type of person who shuns help. This book is SO GOOD, I will be using this book as a reference for all of my taxidermy from here on out. :) Thank you for putting it together so beautifully.

Certainly a modern's guide, as they taxidermy of different species into artistically one "animal" wasn't really what I was looking for.

This book is great for beginners...step-by-step instructions with photos. Perfect for first timers and even those looking for inspiration. I know this is one book I'll refer to again and again!

This is a really nice book. It’s informative and well-written, and also pleasant to the eyes.

A beautiful book - though there are some sections a little too graphic for me - but useful if you're interested in learning how-to taxidermy. I got the book as a fan of Divya Anantharaman's work and a fan of taxidermy and it's a really great history of taxidermy, informative, nice photos of beautiful pieces and in-depth how-to.

This was a good primer, confusing until you have actual hands on experience. The information is helpful for preparing study skins as well.
