New Life For Your Yoga Mat
I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I'd had my Manduka Pro Yoga mat for 4 years without ever washing it. After an intense practice I'd wipe the sweat off of it but that was about all. Recently I seemed to be losing my grip on the mat which I put down to excess sweat. So I ordered a rosin-type product to keep my hands dry. Amazon suggested I also try Manduka Mat Renew Yoga Mat Spray. I liked that it came from the same company that made the mat, I figured they'd know best how to care for it, especially since the mat was fairly expensive compared to others. So I bought some. I chose the Energizing Gingergrass scent. Its a light, clean and fresh scent that doesn't linger. I wasn't crazy about the rosin product, but the Manduka Mat Spray is excellent. I gave my mat a deep initial deep cleaning as described in the directions and was really impressed at how well the mat responded. The mat has regained it's "stickiness" no matter how sweaty my hands get. The color of the mat came back and the wear marks are less apparent. It also smells better! It couldn't be easier to use,it's a finger pump style sprayer, and it only takes a few squirts to cover the mat. Let it sit for maybe a minute, and then wipe it off with a clean dry cloth. The mat comes back to life! Now I use it after every session. I'll be ordering the 24oz. refill soon.

Really nice ~
I have the lavender spray. Arrived in box with some books I ordered, in a separate, sealed plastic wrapper. The spray does a good job of refreshing the mat without leaving a sticky or slimy residue. But the smell, while initially noticeable, fades quickly. Which is nice. I really don't want a nose full of heady lavender while in cobra! But after using this, my mat doesn't smell like sweat and feet anymore! There are two ways to use this spray: 1. Spray onto a soft towel and rub the mat down. 2. Spray onto the mat, let sit five minutes, then wipe with slightly damp, soft towel. I usually go for option 2 once per week. Since my yoga studio only offers the crummy alcohol spray, this is a nice option. But the 8 ounce is really to large to carry in my Prana mat bag (it 'will' fit in the pocket... but bulges a lot), the smaller travel size might be a good option, or pouring some in a smaller spray bottle would work.

Great Product!
I have a Manduka Black Mat Pro and I ADORE it, but ran out of my mat wash. I was reluctant to use another product because I care about my mat so much (soul mat!) so I looked on Amazon for Manduka mat wash- hoping I could get Prime free shipping. I found what I was looking for, and noticed that the Gingergrass scent was about $7 less than the other blends. I decided I would give it a try, and hoped for the best. I was SO EXCITED to to find the scent was light, pleasant, and perfect for me! I was worried it would be overpowering- as I am SUPER sensitive to scents- but it was not at all. It was actually a lot lighter than my usual Citrus scent (which I love, but is about twice as strong smelling as this one). For a great super light (and brief) scent, go with the Gingergrass!

THIS SCENT IS AWFUL, BUT IT WORKS
I bought the new eko mat from Manduka a few weeks ago and was told by a customer service representative that the natural rubber in the eko mat required specific mat cleaner that was vinegar based. Ok, so I thought that it was just a base and that it would still smell like lemongrass. THE VINEGAR SMELL IS SO STRONG!!!! It almost knocked me out of my shoes! However, I will say that it has started to address the natural rubber smell of eko mats that has lingered on mine for the past few weeks. This is not going to be a scent that makes you all zen using it (like a nice lavender spray); however, it WILL get your natural rubber mat very very clean.

Kept my mat clean for years.
I have a Manduka Pro mat I have owned for years. I can't even think of how many of these bottles of cleaner I have bought: always "Energizing Gingergrass" if it matters. I spray a generous amount of cleaner on the mat, wipe it down with a damp rag, turn the mat over, repeat, and hang the mat up over a rail to dry. I have had the same mat for years: it doesn't smell and it's as good as new. This cleaning solution is great!

Great to invest in your mat
I know it seems like “what’s the difference between this cleaner and a generic cleaner?” The thing is, if you’re going to spend $100+ on a yoga mat, you should really invest in a cleanser that’s made specifically for your pro mat rather than the tree rubber based on the composition of how it’s made and what it’s made from. This mat cleaner doesn’t feel sticky to the touch, it dries fairly quickly, and smells really nice without being overbearing or synthetic smelling.

Great mat wash
So far so good! I have had my manduka mat for about 6 years and have never washed it (don't judge :P). Today I used the mat wash and am really pleased! It appears to have cleaned the mat very thoroughly, looks like a new mat. I also really like the smell, a fresh scent of lavender without being overpowering. Definitely worth the buy for me, it saved me the money I would have spent on a new mat.

smells good, thankfully does not renew
I bought this product as upkeep for my Manduka Pro. It leaves a very light fragrance on the mat - barely noticeable, really. It cleans well after a typical Anusara class. I practice in the park once a week, and I just clean my mat in the shower afterward. I'm not sure why they would market this as a mat "renew(er)." The thing I dislike about the Pro is the slick surface when it's new. Don't worry, this spray does NOT renew the Pro's slick surface.

Great yoga mat wash! Worth the money for the convenience
Love the light, refreshing scent this leaves on my mat! Also, it’s great for a healthy deep clean if your mat needs it. It doesn’t leave any residue you can feel with your hands or feet.

Has an interesting smell
There is a hint of the advertised smell but it’s kind of an aroma of vinegar and a sinus infection. Not awful, mind but I guess that’s the best for a natural rubber mat.

Grippy once more.
Strips sweat from a natural yoga mat quite nicely leaving a grippy surface once more. I use it after each session as I do hot yoga and after just one session with a towel over the mat, the grip just isn’t there.

Good mat rince that does what it is supposed to.
Mat rinse that leaves your mat clean if you follow the instructions. Smell is light, and application is easy. Recommended.
