Not only is it very functional but it is also attractive. The stainless steel lid is substantial & well-made & has a nice polish on top. The glass seems sturdy & the handle is comfortable to hold. I really like the classy diamond cut & it is easy to clean inside. The one thing that decided it for me was that it looked like the spout was more elongated than other glass pitchers I have that drip down the side too much.
