America in the World: A History in Documents from the War with Spain to the War on Terror (America in the World, 14)

The editors have collected an excellent selection of sources related to U.S. foreign relations. My only beef is that the table of contents is practically useless - it doesn't list the actual source documents but only overall chapter titles (e.g. "Imperial America"). This makes the book much harder to navigate than it should be.

It was thorough and insightful. I was intimidated by it at first but upon close examination was really able to follow the flow.

A very interesting book with well chosen documents. Useful as primary evidence in class teaching and fascinating for teachers own insight as well.
