I like that they are stackable and you can store a good amount of things in them. They seem to be very strong and can hold a lot of weight.

These are great to use with industrial shelves. Perfect size and great for organizing.

My organizational style requires visibility. I've never been one who could rely on things like opaque cubbies or boxes with lids. If I don't see it, I forget I have it.Because of that, my garage and office utilizes a lot of clear drawers, semi open bins, and open racks over things like crates, lockers, and cardboard boxes.The price on these clear bins is a bit breathtaking at first, but if you've ever priced these types of items before, it's not disproportionate. I think the price of these materials is simply higher than one would expect. If you've bought any large plastic toys for. your kids, you'll know what I mean. Once you're using a LOT of plastic for something, you'd be surprised how quickly the price jumps.So, for these, the price is high, but it's not disproportionally high.I think the clear bins are definitely the way to go despite them being the most expensive option.Because these bins are so deep, you really need that visibility on the sides so you can see what is in the back of each bin (unless you have them stocked back to front with the exact same item in multiples).For me, I use these to store sporting equipment and tools, so it's nice to know which one has the tennis balls and which one has the drills and batteries.They stack well, but they don't really "lock" in place. Because of that, you may want to drill a hole through them and zip tie them together to prevent any unintentional disasters.They come with 4 in a pack which is just a little over waist high for me. I wouldn't mind stacking them 6 high, but I probably wouldn't go much higher than that for stability's sake.Overall, I think these are terrific. They're pricey, but they are VERY durable. They hold a TON of weight and are clearly made for heavy duty use. Unlike the thin sterilite versions, these don't bend or warp. They're nice and stiff, so you can load them up with tools, batteries, and sports equipment without worry about them bowing or stressing under the load.Definitely worth looking at for your garage, classroom, or home gym setup.

I’m not sure if I would order this again if I had to pay $200. it seems majority of the cost went straight to the dimensional shipping weight.They are stackable, but not one in the other so it’s a box delivered for just 4 plastic bins. The size makes it look like a lot of penalty handling charge for UPS alone.

Expensive but huge. They work perfectly for my use. Stack easily and don't flex too much like other cheaper versions.

These Akro-Mils stacking storage bins are excellent heavy duty industrial style storage bins. I work as a manufacturing engineer and we use similar style bins from Uline all over our factory for inventory control purposes. These are just as good, if not better, than the bins I deal with everyday from Uline. They are strong and sturdy and very large. Many people are saying the price of these is high but $40/bin is a fair market price for bins of this size. In comparison, an 18x16.5x11 sized bin from Uline is $25/bin and that's a significantly smaller overall storage capacity. I'm very happy with these for helping to organize my garage/shop.
