Firstly I used two of the units to form a base for a very small potting shed where I could have installed paving slabs, however, this item permitted me to install a sturdy base, but one which could easily be removed should we decide that we not longer need the shed or wish to move to another location. The second function is that as our shed is installed in a very narrow gap between our house and our neighbours fence, I have installed membrane on the floor, filled with shingle and placed 4 of these at the entrance to provide a firm standing and more importantly retain gravel from spilling onto our patio.
