Jura ENA Micro 5 Automatic Coffee Machine, 1, Silver

This espresso machine is fantastic. Desiring to reduce the twice-daily expense of buying Americanos and lattes, I spent a few weeks researching a variety of machines. The $500-600 range devices all had issues, all apparently were destined to experience mechanical failure. After broadening my search to include some finer brands, I came to this Jura ENA. The reviews were awesome, the Youtube videos were wonderful, and the other internet sources couldn't find much wrong.Out of the box, I noticed there was a surprising amount of customizability for such a simple espresso maker. Setup took a few minutes and after some test cups and shots, I was making beautiful Americanos in seconds. Able to choose my own beans, the drinks I'm now making at home are better than my usual coffee shops. While I am sad for the local coffee economy, I have my daily coffee cost down to about a dollar which includes around six shots worth of coffee. The machine will pay for itself in a few months! And, if you are worried about mechanical failure, get Amazon's 4-year service plan because even with the additional cost, making coffee at home will save you tons.If you don't need a milk steamer, this Jura ENA is what you need.

We bought this coffee machine for second time because we were in love with our first coffee machine that lasted almost 7 years and we always thought our coffee was better than Starbucks.... that’s right .. can’t beat that.It crashed in less than a year. Cleaning and programming was extremely time consuming and laborious. But worst of all was the Customerservice when we called to tried to get it fixed. It was under warranty for 4 years and crashed in one. They were not only defensive and not helpful, but we are at a point of buying a new machine as they could not help us with reprogramming. Not buying this again !!

I purchased this machine 5 years ago. I chose this machine because it only made coffee so the cleaning would be easier vs. The machines that have milk addition abilities. Yes, it shuts off after 30 min - a minor annoyance but it's not one that makes or breaks my love of the machine. Yes, you need to watch your water reservoir but if you fill when you're done making your coffee(s) you should be fine. We fill After we both make our coffee (2-8oz fills per cup).Here is what I love about this machine... consistently fabulous coffee! We have used this everyday for multiple cups of coffee for years and each cup has stayed consistently amazing. I like that it rinses when it starts up and shuts down, we just keep a cup under the spout to catch this so the tray doesn't get too full. I also don't mind cleaning out the ground coffee pucks every few days, it reminds you it's time, a quick dump and rinse and you're ready to go! No coffee filters to mess with so one less thing going into my compost.You need to clean every few months with their cleaning tables, the machine will remind you to do this. It will still work with the cleaning and filter change reminders on which I appreciate.All in all, love this machine. I don't see us upgrading to one that does more because we are simple folk that just want an excellent cup of coffee.

best cup of coffee yet. i own 3 juras and this coffee is the most delicious by far. no fancy bells and whistles and the water storage is smallish but hey its worth it man. wow.i wanted to give you an update 2 years later- WE LOVE IT!! it makes the best cupof coffee! you simply MUST buy this!!!

Very good machine.

The machine we received had a number of strange features:1. Most annoying, the machine would shut down after 30 minutes. Therefore, if you wanted to have a couple of espresso while reading the newspaper , we would need to restart the machine at least once. This feature could not be changed and was not mentioned in the description on line.2. The first cup of espresso was very watery and only from the second cup on we could call it "espresso".3. We had to be standing by the machine at every brewing and be quick to place the cup under the coffee spout right after the first clear amount of water came out. Not always we could avoid collecting some drops of watery coffee, before the regular espresso came out.4.The water tank held a very limited quantity of water, and being the thank in the back of the machine, it was annoying and more complex to pull the machine out, extract the water tank and refill it with water.5.The coffee ground container needed to be cleaned very frequentlyAfter talking with a representative from JURA, we decided to return this model and order a more expensive and programmable one. Nevertheless, we still believe that, for the price charged, the Jura 15106 ENA Micro 5 Automatic Coffee Machine should have some features corrected.

Great machine, makes excellent coffee very easy to operate

I bought this machine 2 years ago and since then it has lost its crema and also strong espresso taste. I sent it in for repair under the amazon warranty, but it took 5 weeks and it came back with the same problem.

I'm very disappointed. They send it not in original jura box. And also not a instruction for jura ena micro 5. There was a instruction for a jura A 5. I really doubt whether it is real new one. It's not normal.
