CAP makes the best neoprene dumbbells. And I was so excited to find something over 9 lbs. in a nice color! I have no idea what I'll do once I graduate to 15 lb. weights, since they're all grey and black, but right now I'll revel in my awesome, red 12 lb. weights. The red of the 12 lb. weights is even redder than in the picture, which I love.I've loved CAP dumbbells for years now. I have 3 lbs. to 12 lbs. (except the 10's, because grey is gross). The neoprene is consistent and makes a nice grip (REALLY important for rapidly changing weights during HIIT), the handles may vary in size a bit based on weight, but they're never too thick for me to handle (and I have XS female hands), the hex shape is perfect for keeping these from rolling around and falling on you or the floor (not all hexagonal weights have pronounced enough hex sides to keep this from happening), and the colors are (usually) awesome. Most importantly to me is that there's no dumb, giant logo on the sides—there's just a number. There's nothing to distract you from grabbing the right weights at a glance.I was disappointed with the packaging. The weights were not cushioned at all in their Amazon box. They were wrapped in a thin bit of plastic bag and put in a box just big enough for them. Somehow, the neoprene coating has never been damaged in any of the CAP dumbbell orders I've made...but it just seems like they're asking for dents in the coating.

I like the neoprene coating at least for small pound dumbbells. Unfortunately, they have gotten very expensive and hard to find. But, to be fair, one can charge what the market will bear. At least this is a very nice dumbbell. I had to buy the second one separately and the color is not exactly the same as the first one (same seller), but that doesn't bother me. They may be sourcing them from different manufacturers.The two dumbbells arrived fairly quickly (3 days) and packed properly. I think for heavier (20 pounds and above) dumbbells you should consider the standard metal bar type. These are comfortable, but I do recommend wearing gloves to protect your hands. If you have arthritis, as I do, you should get padded workout gloves. I also think avoiding sweating on them (which gloves will do) should make them last longer. I highly recommend these dumbbells.

Works great really happy i could find a 12 pound dumbbell they aint that easy to find

My husband ordered me just one dumbbell for my birthday by accident, so I had to order myself another one to compete a pair. The place to hold are different sizes. I Ordered from the exact same supplier. It bothers me every time I hold them, but they feel the same weight.

Why would anyone sell ONE dumbbell?!? I know it’s my fault for not reading the fine fine print but I assumed that at the price I paid, I was going to get a “set.” What’s even more misleading is that after I received the one dumbbell, the price went up 80% so that I couldn’t afford to make it a set. Get this.. over $100 for ONE dumbbell. Not sure what the price is now but I swear it was on purpose. It was right after Christmas last year. What a joke. Anyone want to buy my one dumbbell?

I had a serious issue with the shipping, but this seller did in the end make it right. I was also confused and thought I was buying a pair of weights, but perhaps I did not read the description properly. The weight itself was in good condition. What was most important to me was that the seller worked with me in the end.

I had surgery to repair de quervain’s I had been suffering with for 6 months. This weight is the perfect size to help with therapy. The width is just right so my thumb feels comfortable griping it. Has just the right amount of weight to get my muscles burning but not overwhelming them.

Absolute joke, expected a set of weights and only received one, no idea what I am supposed to do with one arm weight! £15 for one weight is a complete rip off.

I thought it was for a set. Like 2 dumbbell weights in a set. for 1/2 a set of weights this is over priced and false advertising. What am I going to do with only 1 dumbbell. OR am I the other dumbbell??

When I first purchased this I checked multiple times it stated this was a 'pair of weight', when it arrived, it was a single weight! Now the price is doubled to buy the 2nd weight.As well, the sticker on the packaging says 'like new' which leads me to believe this is used! Very frustrating

J’ai ouvert la boîte et surprise une seule haltère. De plus le paquet est arrivé en retard de 6 jours. Depuis quand des haltères de 5 livres sont vendues une à la fois. Description porte a confusion. Je veux acheter deux haltères et non une seule pour plus de $40. Je paie pour la livraison et mon achat arrive en retard. Je veux retourner et faire affaire avec une compagnie qui est transparente. Cela ne me dérange pas de payer plus cher mais je veux être certaine de ce que j’achète est bien un set d’haltères. Cela va me coûter plus cher de le retourner que de le garder. ATTENTION parce que la compagnie dit que c’est l’erreur de l’acheteur. J’en ai acheté deux au prix d’une seule haltère de cette compagnie et d’une compagnie québécoise. Donc maintenant j’ai 3 haltères de 5 livres.

I was shipped one new and one USED dumbbell. I order 2X NEW dumbbells and PAID for new. The box was damaged as well. This is too heavy and inconvenient for me to ship back. Very disappointed.
