These are the real deal and delicious!
Not inexpensive, but so much better than the Chinese version. These are real Italian pignoli nuts. They are creamy and buttery and SO GOOD in the pesto I made!

The True taste of pine nuts
These are true Italian pine nuts. They have the flavor of pine. Siberian pine nuts are good, but they are not nuanced like the pine nuts that come from Italy. These pine nuts expensive but delicious and are to be used by those who appreciate the flavor, who are looking for a true taste of home(my 94 year old mother in law..I finally understand the difference), or who want to treat themselves.

Expire within a week
These expire within a week. I assumed based on the packaging that I’d at least have a few months, but no. They expire within 6 days of when I got them. Just something to consider if you don’t plan on using all of all of them right away

Authentic taste and truth in packaging!
First of all, not chinese. Compared to Spanish and Italian nuts, the chinese nut have a definite aftertaste of motor oil.

it is hard to find real pine nuts
It is great to be able to get real Italian pine nuts! Most pine nuts are now grown in China and it is hard to find the original kind which are longer (rather than egg shaped). The taste is pretty similar, but I started having a bad reaction to the rounder pine nuts (a kind of mild food poisoning that left me with bitter taste in my mouth that lasted for over a week - very strange) and discovered that other people had also experienced this reaction from pine nuts recently. It seems that all sorts of new varieties are necessarily being pressed into service in order to satisfy the great demand. Obviously, pine nuts are not an essential need for anybody's diet, but I like them and it is nice to be able to have them again from time to time.

Good value for real pine nuts
These pine nuts from Italy are worth the price. They are quite superior to the ones that come from China, which typically have a metallic aftertaste.

Nice quality and taste
Delicious pine nuts. Nice size and texture. I have ordered these more than once and the quality has been consistent. I'm a basic cook and I enjoy these on spaghetti squash with a little cheese. Makes it taste exotic to my unsophisticated taste buds.
