Great Soap and Gentle Scent
I love this soap! It makes my skin feel soft and moisturized, and I really like how soapy it is. The product is exactly what it claims to be. The scent is not too strong, which I appreciate. I will definitely be purchasing this again. This product is definitely a keeper for me!

Invigorating to use / energizing smell.
Smells incredible - very invigorating. Sage helps clear thinking, and this is both relaxing and helps clear your head. Not synthetic, very lovely.

Lovely Lavender
I am a huge fan of Plantlife products in general because they are natural and free of preservatives and chemicals. That alone is great. What makes Plantlife products better is they are masters of their craft and the products they provide are wonderful. Lavender for me is a tricky scent because there are so many different versions of it. A lot of lavender scented products are cloying to me. This particular soap has a lovely, "honest" lavender smell and does not have undertones of any other scents. When I use this in the shower, especially one of the long ones that are great for unwinding, this is one of my favorite treats. It fills the bathroom with that wonderful and soothing lavender fragrance. One of the greatest things I have found is while it will fill my bathroom with the lovely scent I don't spend the rest of the day feeling like I have a field of flowers chasing after me. It leaves a light subtle scent on my skin. Additionally, the soap does not dissolve within one use. The singular bar of Plantlife soap, I have found, lasts me at least as long as two bars of Dove and other large brand soaps. The soap itself is silky and pleasant on my skin, without being over drying. The simple packaging, I also find quite nice. I very much appreciate Plantlife not saturating the soap with a bunch of artificial coloring to make it more "marketable". I find quite a bit of beauty in the simplicity of the dense square bar and simple paper wrap. Overall, I find this soap to be a luxurious sweetly scented treat for bath time. I have bought other scents and had wonderful experiences with those as well. It is definitely worth the extra cost for one bar of soap especially since, as I mentioned above, it lasts a long time.

Nice subtle scent, but a little greasy
I like this soap because it's natural, mostly organic according to their customer service, but not certified organic because the certification is expensive to obtain and they're a small company, so I understand that. They're also completely cruelty-free, and the only non-vegan products are their lip balms (again, this is coming from customer service, which got back to me quickly.) There is also minimal packaging that comes with this product, which I appreciate as it's better for the environment. This is my first time using bar soap as opposed to liquid. The soap has a subtle scent, so you have to put your nose up to it to smell it and you won't smell it on yourself after bathing, which I'm fine with but if you're looking for a bolder scent, this might not be for you (it is called aromatherapy after all, and if you can't smell it that much, you won't get much out of it in that respect.) But the scent is lovely, like a creamsicle, and I'm glad it's from natural sources, unlike a conventional soap which has a bolder scent but you don't know what's in it. However this soap is kind of oily, and as it says on their website, it's because they keep the glycerin in the soap, which is a byproduct that's usually taken out. So it's a "humectant" meaning it retains moisture, kind of like having a lotion in the soap, but if you wash your arm and then rub your hand up and down on it, it'll sort of come away with a grubby texture. I'm using this soap in the winter now, but I don't know if I'll still like it as much when summer comes and I already feel greasy from sweat. But overall it's not a big deal for me because it's just on my body, and I wash my hands to get that residue off. I also bought the "double mint," which again has a nice subtle scent, but I haven't used that yet. Overall good, and would consider buying again, though I might try the Oregon Soap Company just to compare.

I'm hooked......
I've looked for so long for a cleanser that I could use on my D-R-Y face. I've paid as much as $150 for a skin care line (stupid huh!), still I was not satisfied. I ran across this product while playing around on Amazon and read some of the reviews. I decided to order, I mean.....why not...I've certainly given everything else a chance. Normally I clean my face with a carrier oil but I just can't escape the wanting of some suds when I'm removing my makeup. I ordered several bars and waited anxiously with the highest hopes.... I didn't wait long, this company wasted no time getting my order out. I retrieved it from my mailbox within a couple of days and couldn't wait to try it out. I opened my package to find my order and two samples, a soap sample and a sample of essential oil...these were no skimpy samples either. I have a lot of respect for companies that send samples for two reasons....first it shows me that they have confidence in their products and secondly it shows me that they are more interested in winning customers and keeping them instead of "greedy grabbing" and continuously depending on a fresh lot of customers. Anyway...I immediately began to wash my D-R-Y face, wondering if I was making a big mistake....usually it takes quite a bit of time to get a decent amount of moisture back once I've messed up with a cleanser .... anyway, as I was washing....I was stressing....the suds from this soap were just plain silky....I was enjoying this but was afraid I would over do it so I began the splash rinse cycle. While rinsing I realized....uh....my skin was squeaking....AHHHHHHHHH...that's the scariest sound in the world for people with dry skin....it ALWAYS means dry and tight! However, after the rinse my skin felt smooth, not tight, not oily. I decided to wait 20 minutes before applying moisturizer...I was so sure it my skin would be dry....it wasn't! After the 20 minute wait my my skin was perfectly balanced. I applied a couple of drops of camellia oil and found my skin simply glowing. Next up was the shower. Again I was not disappointed, this soap produces such silky suds and a delightful aroma. My skin felt soft and clean....squeaky clean. This soap is wonderful for balancing the skin and I imagine it would work well for any skin type, furthermore I don't have to worry about chemicals that dry or irritate. This is a soft soap...I cut my in quarters so that I don't have an entire bar dissolving....

Just nice soap nothing green tea about it
Nice soap, pleasant smell, reminds of soap my grandmother would have used in her days. But definitely not green tea!

Great soap
Mainstream soap brands tend to have harmful chemicals and are not environmentally friendly. I found Plantlife when searching for alternatives and I really love it. It's a brand that is not only healthy and good for my skin (I use it on both hands and face), but it smells good without being overpowering _and_ also uses minimal packaging. As far as sizing goes, I have hands that are average size for a woman. When the soap is brand-new, the comparatively sharp edges are a little uncomfortable and the soap bar is a little large, but both of these issues quickly go away within a few uses. The bar as a whole still lasts a reasonable amount of time. Also, now that I've gotten used to the natural scents of this bar soap and my other "green" products, the more toxic, chemical-based products I used to use no longer smell pleasant to me. They smell fake and "chemical-y" compared to better brands like Plantlife. When I looked for the brand online, I discovered a wider selection of scents, so I decided to try out a few that my local store doesn't carry. This vanilla orange one smelled a little odd when it first arrived and was still dry, but once I started using it to wash my hands, the scent resolved into what I had been expecting. I don't think I'll add it to my rotation of faves, but it's still pleasant enough and will be a good backup if there's ever a shortage of my favorite scents.
