KOH KOHFormal Short Sleeve Cocktail Flowy V-Neck Gown

Arrived late last night. Happy with my purchase. The color is nice, I purchased to wear in photos with my blue eyed son who is turning 18 and graduating high school the same week, so that I can stand beside him in his navy blue graduation gown to have a mother and son photo. Will update once this photo is taken and I have in with my shoes and hair and makeup lol for now it hangs on my laundry door. I will try on before I remove the tags to make sure it suits and then wash. Fabric is light stretch knit and seems thick enough to be not see through but breathable for a steamy Houston Texas evening. Fingers crossed this goes well in 2 weeks!

Comfortable and stylish

I bought this at the very last minute, a week before my daughter‘s wedding, because the dress that I had made ended up being awful. I had a really hard time finding semi formal dresses that were appropriate for a mother of the bride in the color that I needed. So grateful for this dress! It turned out beautiful and it’s super comfortable! I loved it! I just wish it was a tad bit longer. I am 5’ 6.5”, 130 pounds and this was a small. My heels were not very high, but it felt slightly too short. The picture advertised shows it floor length. So my only complaint is that I wish it was a little longer.

I liked the simplicity of this dress for a wedding I'm in this Spring however if you get the "MINT" color, (which is a pale blue green nearly aqua with more green, hard to describe) it's quite a difficult color to find accessories for. Clear or frosted Sea glass in the shade is close as I found, and I put a abalone shell necklace with it. I decided to make it tea length for an afternoon event and so a trip to the tailor for shortening it and adding the side slit cost more than the dress unfortunately. Oh and I added belt loops on each side because it came with NO LOOPS at all for the Self Belt. If you want long it's probably fine as is, IF there's no dancing or activities you need room to move in! I'm 5'6"half and the length hit my ankles originally. I appreciate the design of the sleeves, keeping my arms cool but hiding some or most of that elder lady underarm loose musculature we get (unless we lift weights) and still be short sleeved. The empire waist gives a slight gather just above the tummy so it covers just slightly if you're conscious about a stomach. The V neck isn't plunging but it could use a hook or snap to pull the top layer together. I may have to safety pin or put in a tuck knot. Fabric is a poly type that's washable and not sheer but not heavyweight either. Late Spring in Texas-- I'm hoping it'll be about right. Good dress for the price and didn't take over a week to ship.

I needed a dress for a black tie wedding, this would do but I went with something a that is dressier. I highly recommend this dress it is gorgeous, comfortable, and really easy to wear. If i didnt find the other dress I would be wearing this one for sure. I will order from them again when I need another dress.

I've bought similar dresses from other companies with no issue. This thing was a nightmare to iron. I steamed it on the hanger twice since I was used to doing that with my other dresses and when that didn't work, I had to iron it on setting 5 FOUR TIMES!! I'm 5'9 and it came to my ankle bend so I don't know how anyone shorter wouldn't have to hem it. I'm guessing many of you looking at this design have batwings you want to cover and this seems like a good solution. It's not. Your wing will pop out to join the party and if you've got wing on the back, chances are you've got a little chub on the front which will be highlighted for posterity. What seemed like would be a flattering wrap dress design just made it look like a sheet with a belt with all of the gathers up top. That's my fault because I had the same opinion of most of the pics but was hoping it would somehow look different on me but it didn't and I'm a DD so it's not like I don't have the bust for it. Speaking of which, I hope you like the girls on full display and ready to play. I got a slip which thankfully gave just enough modesty to not have me tugging at the top the whole time. I would suggest that or tacking it underneath so you're covered. The color was also not the same as the picture. I fully understand the difference between monitor colors and real life but this was a considerably different blue than the teal color I chose. It's getting donated since it couldn't be returned but get this well ahead of your event, iron it then try it on and have your picture taken before taking off that tag that says it's not returnable if removed. If you like the way you look in the picture, great. If not, get something else.

Fit is super flattering. True to size but long of course to accommodate all so plan on altering if you are short like me at 5’2”

For the price, I'm impressed with its design. The material is scratchy and did get hot after dancing. The color for me was meh. I ordered a dark green but it was really a gray color. Overall, I would buy again but in a different color- maybe a navy.I wish it was longer, I had to wear flats because with heels the length was awkward looking.
